Seems The Iranians Didn't Treat The Brits So Well After All

What a suprise. Kept the female sailor in isolation and told her everyone else had been released. My how they respect women.

I was in highscholl during the Iranian debacle back in the 70's. I knew that they weren't on the up and up, and I haven't changed my idea since then, and won't until I see a concerted effort on the part of their leaders to actually make a change for the good of their own people, and their neighbors, but not much has changed there in the last 2,000 years, other than technology, and who has occupied the country, or who leads it.

When I went to Kean University here in NJ, I took a course in hostage crisis. I was a seminar run by Moorhead Kennedy one of the American hostages taken on Nov 4, 1979. (November 4th just happens to be my birthday)

It was quite an exercise. I played a hostage along with several others. Some played the role of reporters, government offficials.

It was quite an honor to meet and ask questions about his experience in Tehran as a hostage.

I don't want to imagine what it's like for a woman to be taken hostage in a country that belittles women to an object of property and abuse. She must of been on her prayer bones.
