What came to mind is ,what did the out-of-country tourists think of this? Or even all the out-of staters........

Another thought came to mind is I have been in a couple clubs in the past years, where I or someone else started to dance on the floor, to music playing,and were told to stop because the club did not have a license to dance on their premises.........just a thought.....

It was pretty amazing. Looks like if you are visiting DC from out of town you get two days in jail for an offense that should get you a ticket/summons, unless you're an illegal alien of course. The next big DC rally of a million or more should be to dance. Fill their jails until they cry.

Those Park Police (whatever the hell they are) are some bad-ass guys. Especially the doofus with the bicycle helmet. Yet this is allowed.

WASHINGTON (May 28, 2011) – Police arrested five people at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington D.C. Saturday.

Their crime?

Silent dancing.

A group of about a dozen people showed up at the memorial to protest a recent court ruling upholding the 2008 arrest of Mary Oberwetter.

Oberwetter was part of a group of 18 people who went to the Jefferson Memorial in April of that year to celebrate the third president’s birthday. Just before midnight, the flash mob began dancing silently to honor “the individualist spirit for which Jefferson is known.â€

Literally! I see too many Flabzilla's at the grocery stores using food stamps! Very disturbing and disgusting!
