ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- A Sheldon, Iowa, man was arrested Tuesday in Sioux County, after authorities say he used another person's identity to gain employment.

At 6:27 p.m. Tuesday the Sioux County Sheriff's Office arrested Jose Orlando Ramirez-Reyes, 35, on charges of identity theft and forgery, both class D felonies.

The Sioux County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that the Sheldon Police Department was investigating Ramirez-Reyes on a warrant, and for possibly using someone else's name to purchase cell phones from Alltel wireless in Sheldon.
