Thread: Sky Vodka Vrs Absolut

Gotta tell you... I drank 2 spicy Bloody Mary's during dinner last week and specifically asked for Sky Vodka

You need to watch the Bar Tenders, my bartender poured Absolut vodka and I watched from the bar to my table the little drink came... I asked the waiter if he expected a tip and he stated thats how he makes a living..

I suggested he talk to the bar tender why he poured cheap Absolut vodka into my bloody Mary instead of Sky

I watched the argument between the two and After a few minutes the waiter came back and said the bar tender was told to push Absolut

He apologized, dumped the drink and returned with a Bloody Mary with Sky vodka free of charge. The manager apologized, the bar tender apologized the waiter apologized and my drinks were free

point of the message, others have been to this restaurant and Absolut is not moving... "Cheers" a toast to Sky Vodka and good ole American Ingenuity

WTG they figure on dumping it in a bloodymary because its hard to taste the brand with all the other stuff.

I was in a bar with some friends a few weeks ago. I was about to buy a round of drinks and the owner came out and I pointed to the top shelf where the Absolut was and said "Why in the hell do you have that invasion liquor in this bar?"

He said "Oh yea, I heard about that... you are talking about the Mexico thing? I did not like that at all."

I said, "Well you own the place, why dont you ditch Absolut and switch to Skyy?"

He asked about Skyy and I told him the story.

He took down the bottle of Absolut in front of me, my friends, and a very interested crowd that was listening in. He threw the half full bottle in the trash can and everyone cheered! I ordered us a round of drinks.

Now that's the kind of politics Im talkin bout!
