Assessing the Republican Field
Warning: this is NPR, so you should have a barf bag handy.
NPR.org, November 15, 2007 · Last week's column offered a snapshot of the Democratic presidential contenders, two months to go before the first-in-the-nation caucuses in Iowa. This week, we attempt to do the same for the Republican field. In some ways, it's even a tougher assignment with the GOP, a party whose ostensible front-runner is a pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control thrice-married former mayor of New York City, not the kind of resume that is known for attracting Republican delegate votes at their national conventions.
Iowa could determine whether there will indeed be a fight for the Democratic nomination. On the GOP side, the battle could be more prolonged and complicated.Reporting without fear or favor-American Rattlesnake

NPR will support a pro government (neocon) candidate because they receive government funding. More government (taxes) more money for them to receive.

interesting.....
but one thing that is very clear..
ALL of the ones who are supported and pushed by the Media are CFR.
Plain and simple.
Ron Paul, because of his huge fan base and fundraising is labeled and chastised and smeared regardless of his prominent endorsements by Barry Goldwater Jr,, and prominent economists etc...
It is precisely his support that has those in power worried. So the smears are coming fast and furious.
Now, Tancredo and Hunter are also in the Ron Paul camp in that they are not puppets - each of these two have stronger credentials that any of those who the MSM push.. but why are they last in the polls? And IF they were higher, they would be smeared as Ron Paul is.
The signs are simple. Those who are CFR are promoted and pushed, those who aren't are smeared and ridiculed. Same goes for the DEMS. Look over there too.. same thing... those who are CFR are pushed and promoted as "winners", those who are not - smeared and given NO media time.
It is obvious "who" special interests, lobbyists and banks want to win.

I forget if it was John Derbyshire or Jay Nordingler at NR, but one of them analogized public radio in the U.S. to Radio Moscow/Pravda.
The fact that we actually have government, i.e. taxpayer, bankrolled media resources in this country is patently offensive to me as an American.Reporting without fear or favor-American Rattlesnake
