Former 'Happy Days' star Scott Baio says he is receiving death threats over Twitter after posting an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama with an insulting caption.

Baio is a vocal Republican who had been tweeting breathlessly about Scott Brown's victory before he made this attempt at a joke about the first lady.

"WOW He wakes up to this every morning," Baio tweeted, along with this photo:



His followers were not amused and began leaving him instructions to kill himself and calling him a racist idiot and worse. Baio did himself no favors by trying to prove his lack of racism.

"I'm NOT racist for posting a pic of M.O. My WIFE'S BEST FRD IS BLACK,HELLO" he tweeted.

And: "Do I look like I'm racist? This is Renee's BEST frd. STOP USING THE RACE CARD!!!" Here is a picture Baio tweeted of himself with said black person:



Further evidence of his tolerance of black people: "If I'm racist, don't think I would have Directed shows like The Parkers & The Wayans Bros. or worked 41 eps w/ Victoria Rowell on D.Murder"

Baio later tweets that his following has swelled to 5000 because "people love to hate." He leaves us with a promise that the FBI is after all death threaters and this:

"For New followers: I POST A LOT OF JOKES WITH PICS. They are JUST that, a joke. NOT targeting anyone. Laughter IS the best medicine."

Why do white people feel the need to argue with racist idiots? So they call you a racist? Laugh in their faces, say "whatever", then move on. No need to show how many non-white friends you have or talk to, it's like arguing with a wall.

I think Michelle looks like a man, a big man. I cringe when I see her being called "fashionable", she looks horrible in so many outfits. Admittedly, she looks much better in sheaths, but somehow always insists on wearing a belt tucked right under her boobs, what's up with that?? She makes Barky look effeminate.

Keep on tweeting Scott and ignore the race-baiting haters. Free speech is a beautiful thing.

I agree with that statement. One of the reasons for hurling the "racist" accusation is to force a person into a defensive position to try to "prove" that they aren't. And like you said, people who pull the race card aren't going to be convinced anyhow; trying to prove that you aren't a racist just results in your looking desperate and giving the race-baiters even more ammunition to use against you. So I agree that the best reaction is to just say "whatever you say" and move on. It's ironic that those who cry "racism" are the ones who want Michelle Obama treated differently because she is black; I doubt they would have had the same reaction if he would have posted an unflattering pic of Hillary Clinton with the same caption. Hypocrites.

So let's see, rabid racists are issuing death threats, do you think the SPLC will write an "Intelligence Report" about this "hate"? Oops, they are liberal rabid racist haters, guess not.

Racist doesn't work anymore. If anyone throws a racist theme into any equasion... you can now laugh it off. If the USA was a racist nation, we would never have elected a black, muslim President.

This country is not racist. Those that accuse us of being racists, are the true racists.

I have to say that picture of Michelle is horrifying. I keep thinking of her moma putting pins in the voodo dolls in the White House.

Have you noticed Michelle doesn't do crap these days. The first few weeks in the white house she was all a glow... Now she's probably running around all day to be sure the Press doesn't see her moma with the voodo doll closet..

I'm not a big Twitter person myself, but I will have to sign up for Scott's asap....that was freakin hil-ari-ous.

Agreed on the race baiters, Scott needs to just blow them off. I dont think calling MO "ugly" in so many words was "racist". Anyone can be ugly, no matter what thier skin color. Why does he care so much what idiots think? I stopped caring a long time ago and I'm just an average Joe!
