The battle for the hearts and minds of America and the West was the first battle in the war on terror, and remains the most important battle nine and a half years after the 9/11 attacks.

Winning the hearts and minds was number one on the Bush administration’s hidden agenda for war across the Middle East. The best way to get people of a free and democratic society to support aggressive wars against other nations is by using false flag terrorism against them, and blaming it on foreigners. This is what the Bush administration successfully did when it staged 9/11, and falsely accused Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda for the attacks.

Terror shakes people up, and makes them irrational and emotional. Tricksters and tyrants love terror because they love compliant, unquestioning, and fearful people to rule over. It makes their job a lot easier. False flag terrorism can be understood as a form of shock and awe that governments use against their own people to get popular support for their radical domestic and foreign policies. Here is the basic definition of shock and awe: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_and_awe

a military doctrine based on the use of overwhelming power, dominant battlefield awareness, dominant maneuvers, and spectacular displays of force to paralyze an adversary’s perception of the battlefield and destroy its will to fight.

The key idea of shock and awake is that it is meant to “paralyze an adversary’s perception of the battlefield.â€
