You're welcome! I know people want to buy American and are tired of the China stuff. There's a little store in our small town that opened last summer. They have specialty things. I'm going to stop in there and see what they have that is made in America. I might have more for you.

Great info to have, Gogo! I went shopping this past week-end and asked in every store I went for them to show me their NMIC (Not Made In China) toy section and their Made in the USA toy section. The folks in the store looked at me like I was crazy for asking for a section dedicated to USA products and products made outside of China; however, I think if enough of us ask these types of questions in stores while shopping, we'll eventually influence these large and small stores to stock MADE in USA items and NMIC items!!!

Awesome. I'm afraid to go into my local Toys R Us anyway .. .it's usually overrun by illegals and the last time I was there, I was stared at by one of them as if he wanted to kill me. I happened to just cross his path with my cart, I guess.

If Americans just did this, put our money where our mouth is, we could change so much.

BUY AMERICAN ONLY!!!! And make sure the employers employ Americans as well.

It's all about profits, so why not erode into those profits. As soon as "merchants" realize the hispanic market isn't going to sustain them, they'll stop pandering to them.

    Politicians are another matter.

Study says lead common in toys

Report released jointly by environmental groups says 35% of toys tested, including a Hannah Montana card game case, contained the metal.

I think it would be great if everyone took all these toys and dumped them in the Walmart Stores. Let them dispose of them.

    Thanks for the list.

I think its the level of lead they are concerned about. If I'm mistaken. The problem is small children put toys in their mouths and that is a real danger.

    I'll check Giggles today.
