Movement To Impeach Eric Holder Underway

They say justice is blind, and it’s supposed to be. Unfortunately since the rise of Attorney General Eric Holder, justice has been anything but. Despite the general notion of being unbiased, Holder has used everything from race, to politics and ideology to further his own, as well as Obama’s, agenda.
Needless to say, many are upset and a few have stepped up, sworn to do something about it.
A group of black pastors have recently banded together in an effort to obtain about 6 million signatures in order to convince even the most biased of fools that Holder needs to be immediately removed. President of the Coalition of African American Pastors, Rev. Bill Owens, stated, “The attorney general of the United States should be impeached over his repeated lawlessness in attempting to impose same-sex marriage through the nation.”
Furthermore, he noted, “It’s one thing to make a political argument that gay marriage should be the law, but it’s quite another to take actions that ignore federal law, Supreme Court rulings and the constitutions of dozens of states that have specifically rejected the redefinition of marriage which the administration is trying to impose.”
This isn’t the first time impeachment has been brought up for the left leaning Attorney General either, as Rep. Pete Olson suggested as much just a few months ago. “The pattern of disregard for the rule of law and refusal to be forthright has only continued,” he explained. “The American people deserve answers and accountability. If the attorney general refuses to provide answers, then Congress must take action.”
Going a little deeper into his reasoning, he mentioned, “For nearly five years, Attorney General Holder has systematically deceived Congress and destroyed the credibility of the Justice Department in the eyes of the American people,” Olson said. “During his tenure, Mr. Holder refused to cooperate with a congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious and the resulting death of a Border Patrol agent, refused to prosecute IRS officials who unlawfully disclosed private tax records to third party groups, and misled Congress about his involvement in the investigation of a journalist.”
So, what do you guys think – had Holder demonstrated that he is using his position as a leg up in the political game for not only himself, but in assistance of Obama as well, or is this just right-wing hogwash? Let us know in the comments below.
