Republicans and Democrats, Please Protect Us from Ron Paul!

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Republicans and Democrats must work together to protect us from this quixotic left-wing, right-wing, long-shot, darkhorse, baby-delivering devil.

Every Negative Article You Have Read About Ron Paul in One.

Ron Paul is a 72-year-old dark horse, long-shot libertarian republican with a quixotic bid for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination. As an obstetrician, he has delivered ten babies and he has served over 4,000 terms in Congress. Because he advocates trade, negotiation, and overall positive relationships with other nations he is a strict isolationist.

Paul's foreign policies are backward like Colin Powell's in 2002. He believes the Bush Administration should pursue Osama Bin Laden rather than lure him into Iraq where he will, no doubt, turn himself into the authorities any day. He refuses to respect Halliburton's sovereign right to govern and to boost the American economy by charging the military $96 for each bag of laundry. There is no doubt that if Paul were President, he would force the troops to shower in warm, transparent water instead of the tasty green stuff government contractors currently provide with impunity.

Paul's economic policies are reactionary: hailing from the colonial times when Ronald Regan was the President. He has a strange disdain for everything America loves including budget deficits, bureaucratic mismanagement, the destabilization of the dollar, and the complete implosion of the Enron-like structure of Social Security. He wants to remove the capital gains taxes on hard assets like gold and silver, which has not been proposed by any serious economist since a November, 2007 interview with Alan Greenspan. On the other hand, Paul's opponents have demonstrated certain financial aptitude and have been endorsed by such economic heavyweights as Pat Robertson and Chuck Norris.

His affiliation with the Republican Party is equally laughable. By adhering to its core principles he represents its radical fringe. Having spent one year in the libertarian party and seventy-two in the Republican Party, it is questionable where his loyalties truly lie.

He is rightly ignored by the troops. Although the FEC reports that Dr. Paul has received more money than any other candidate from veterans and active-duty personnel, his opponents, who don't believe in conspiracies, know his supporters simply colluded with the FEC to deceive the public. Now they infiltrate the military, don their uniforms, and shoot support videos in helicopters and on tanks. Youtube should screen these videos for authenticity.

His supporters can be even more dangerous. They bring heated debates to political blogs and news columns, which were once serene and comfortable forums to trade baking recipes. His entire support consists of three potheads and one neo-Nazi who each raided their mother's purses to contribute 15 million dollars over the course of his campaign. The neo-Nazi personally endorsed Dr. Paul on his website as well as Jesus Christ and the value of eating leafy green vegetables. Like Dr. Paul, the Savior and the spinach industry have refused to disassociate themselves from the obnoxiously-attenuated connection.

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of Dr. Paul is that he, himself believes in conspiracies. In June, he was recorded on camera saying "hmm" to a spokesman for the 9/11 Truth group. He has also stated that some people may be ideologically driven to advocate for a North American Union and highway. It is preposterous to think that giant American corporations could benefit from an inflow of cheap labor and lower import tariffs. Los Angeles Times columnist, Stephen Braun, proved Paul was wrong by interviewing three men filling potholes on Interstate 5. "There is no such highway" they all explained, replacing future tense with present.

Jeffrey Toobin, a CNN post-debate analyst explained that this means Paul believes in magical "dark forces". He could not bless viewers with more insight, because CNN had to switch to a special Lou Dobbs report on the proposal for a NAFTA superhighway.

No doubt, Dr. Paul will be forgotten along with such political lightweights as Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan, and Thomas Jefferson, who preached identical views. The Republican Party should do its best to eliminate this threat of future success by disenfranchising an entire generation of newfound Republicans who were previously under the impression that they had to be Democrats to be right. This will protect the next generation from the blame for delivering a neglected, broken economy and a government that is $10 trillion in debt. And they will, no doubt, thank the current Republican Party for replacing political theory with Jesus.

Of course, it is satire - but right on the money.

This man has all the party affliated people and the media scared. I am sure he has big business scared as well.

We have heard that the Muslims support him, that Mexico supports him - that he was somehow involved in minting counterfeit money - lies about a highway everyone but the media seems to now about -

His ideas are old ideas that many people today have never heard before, and that seems strange to some. Much of his ideas are not new ideas - they are ideas straight from the constitution.

There is certainly room for a difference of opinion - but when opponents have to go to such lengths to find something wrong, he sounds good to me.

Discerning fact from fiction can be a problem for folks at times.

Heck, I and some others have attempted on numerous occasions to present facts backed by evidence on Paul's many shortcomings. If my fellow ALIPAC friends have honestly considered the facts in an unbiased manner, than so be it. It's your choice to support whomever you choose, however, when the facts are presented, please don't accuse us that present them honestly as bashers.

The thing is, you don't provide ALL the facts because you don't provide specifics in these bills and what he agrees or disagrees with. Many times Ron Paul votes against what is sneaked into these bills which may confuse some people. It's not all black and white as you suggest it is. The truth is, unlike many other politicians he actually reads these bills! He has stated, and his record backs it up, that he uses the Constitution as his guide - which afterall, is the oath all politicians take - to uphold and protect the Constitution. As long as he's doing that, he's got my unwavering trust.

Everyone has shortcomings but what candidate is truly perfect? Honesty and Intergrity should be the top 2 to begin with and Ron Paul has both. If you were truly unbiased, why then don't you post the shortcomings of ALL the candidates with the same frequency as you do Dr. Paul? That is, if your efforts are sincere in wanting to help ALIPAC members come to a more informed decision.

Personally, I must say that I do find it rather odd that you do more posting of Ron Paul, than you do promoting your own candidate of choice. If he is so terrible, what then is our alternative among the other GOP hopefuls that are still legitimate contenders in the race? Please tell us.

Lastly, nntrixie has it absolutely right. When the establishment goes out of their way to marginalize someone like Ron Paul (or anyone for that matter), alarms should be going off. Your instincts should tell you, that if they deem someone as a threat, he/she is actually the RIGHT choice not the wrong one!

No MW, We are just tired of posters like you which parrot the media in their biasness without the facts. You post Dr. Paul's voting record and say "see!! You see how he is.." and then when given contrary reasons for vote, you never change your tune. I mean, at one point you posted some bill about "sharks" or something like that. This is where you are at. The funny thing is, your man Hunter (who is really in this race just to promote his son for political office) and your second choice are going down. I like Tancredo, so I am sorry to say that - but he will. And now all you have left is, who? Romney. You would rather see a CFR flipflopper in the whitehouse? So, like those you accuse - one must criticize your motives... which seem to be hugely influenced by America the Empire - you know, bring democracy and manipulation across the globe. Funding countries across the globe. Signing soveriegnty stealing trade agreements...

We get it. We understand where you are coming from. But "IF" you are gonna post items you don't like - then at least do a little homework on 'why' someone might vote a certain way.

What I find very amusing is that in the beginning, you - like a few others here were all cool with Ron Paul - and when he started rising, and when his fundraising become huge. When your candidates of choice were not budging in the polls, then the smears starting happening JUST LIKE IN THE MSM. I find that very telling. It is called fear.

When you present "facts". Just remember, these are facts based on your interpretation. If Ron Paul votes against a bill that would fund, lets say, a fence - You say "SEE! RON PAUL IS AGAINST SECURITY." What you didn't not say in your post is that the reason he voted against it, is becasuse it also earmarked millions to the implementation of a National ID card. As an example. So, if you are gonna come across as some "do gooder", get your facts straight.

There have been instances in which you posted something I could not give a clear answer and I said "hey, If Border security is your FIRST and ONLY issue, then Tancredo or Hunter are your best bets.." But when you post bills that are not honest in their presentation, I will raise alarms.

How many times did I have to refute that "pork" argument some came forward with. Not once, but a few times.

As I noted before, and a poster above mentioned, you spend AN AWEFUL LOT OF TIME trying to refute Ron Paul. Do you do ANY campaigning for your candidate of choice? I mean. We see the "same" persons trying to smear Ron Paul, the SAME ONES. And coincidentally - all of these persons LOVE the free money we send overseas and the wars in the middle east (hmmm, can we say - special interests)..... yet open borders, globalism, cfr, nau, bad treaties and trade deals are all sorta 'waved away'... very strange to me.

You have limited choices... cfr special interests controlled canddiates or Ron Paul. That is your choice. Tancredo and Hunter will bow out after NH or Iowa.
