Urine Test

Like a lot of folks in my state, I have a job. I
Work, they pay me. I
Pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes
As they see fit.
In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass
a random urine
Test, which I have no problem with. What I do have
a problem with is
The distribution of my taxes to people who don't
Have to pass a urine
Test.
Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a
Welfare check? I
Have to pass one to earn it for them.
Please understand, I have no problem with helping
People get back on
Their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem
With helping someone
Sit on their butt.


Could you imagine how much money the state would
Save if people had to
Pass a urine test to get a public assistance
Check?!?

Wasn't there some new law that was supposed to go in effect that if you lived in public housing and anyone in your apartment had a drug conviction then you were kicked out? The reason I bring this up is I remember all the "sob stories" the liberal media showed about some welfare mom with many kids. Her son got arrested for drugs and they all faced the possibility of being kicked out of their public housing. I don't know if the law was ever implemented.

I agree that if you fail a urine test or if you are convicted of any felony you should certainly lose your benefits. But then I also believe that very very few people in this country should be on public assistance. Only in extreme cases. Most people could get a job but don't or their job is making babies and having us pay for it.

On one of the other boards, someone posted an article about having prisoners pick fruits and vegetables when we send the illegals home.
How about people on welfare do the same.
