If you are visited by a federal agent, under the Patriot Act that agent can tell you that if you tell anyone you were visited, even your spouse, you will go to jail

Think they don't mean it? In Bridgeport an 86 year old librarian told the agent to stuff it and handed the "Self-Warrant," meaning a search warrant an agent can write for himself without bothering with a judge, to her 76 year old assistant. They arrested her. Not only did they arrest her, they prosecuted her and tried to put her away for 5 years. She only got lucky when the appalled judge was about to declare the Patriot Act unconstitutional, and the feds withdrew the indictment.
