For several years, Robbinsville Township has had a holiday tree along with a menorah lighting celebration for Hanukkah.
This morning on Fox and Friends, Mayor David Fried said, “This year they wanted to make it just a tree lighting. They were going to drop the holiday.”
In a letter, he explained to town officials why he thought it should be called a Christmas tree.
He told Anna Kooiman, “We can’t continue to chip away at our culture. [...] When did Merry Christmas become something that you felt uncomfortable saying to someone?”
Mayor Fried said there has been some backlash, but for the most part reaction has been positive.

An electronic billboard advertisement by American Atheists in New York City, that seeks to deter people from including Christ in their Christmas celebrations, has been getting a lot press lately. We wanted to know what New Yorkers thought of the ad.

MRCTV traveled to the Big Apple to ask people about the atheists anti-Christian message and whether they thought we should take the "Christ" out of Christmas.
