Republicans in Congress, you guys and gals want to start fixing the problems we have here in America? You want to prove to America that you are serious about dealing with serious problems? There are a lot of things that need done but here is a list to start with. Some of these are quick fixes that you can get enough Democrats in the Senate to go along with. Others are things that “moderateâ€

Sounds good! I would just add that we need to also:

1. stop illegal immigration
2. protect our trade
3. legalize/regulate/tax under the FairTax the illegal drug trade
4. drill baby drill lifting all bans on US oil and gas drilling while enforcing all applicable environmental laws to the letter and
5. mention that under the FairTax no one is paying into SS and MediCare except when they buy new products and services so there's really no point to "opt out" since the FairTax adequately funds SS and MediCare. I'm all for giving people the opportunity to opt out of MediCaid which should be funded in whole by one or more of the thousands of phony 501 C 3 organizations raking in $1.3 trillion a year in "charitable" contributions to fund the likes of National Council of La Raza, Family Research Council, Islamic Information Center and so many other "charity" frauds if makes me want to puke.

Thank you for telling Republicans to pass the FairTax. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! It truly is the single most important new legislation we can pass in 2011 so it can go into effect in 2012, because it not only eliminates the scourge of mandated income taxation and abolishes the vile IRS, it restores liberty, privacy and dignity to the American People, discourages illegal immigration, cuts free trade treason off at its knees, holds 501 C 3's accountable to a "charitable" cause of giving, funds SS and MediCare without payroll taxes, increases net expendable income for all Americans and retained earnings for all US businesses and invites anyone who loves freedom and prosperity for all to invest in our country and the people who invented both.

They also should defund DHS, EPA, Department of Education and I would go for a flat tax rather than a fair tax. I think with the fair tax, there could be too much written into it to mess it up. The flat tax would be just a FLAT tax across the board.
