    Builders of new homes see no signs of recovery

    With sales down 80 percent since 2005, analysts expect long-term changes in behavior

    RICHMOND, Ill. — In this distant Chicago suburb, a builder has finally found a way to persuade people to buy a new house: he throws in a car.

    Kim Meier’s spring promotion, which includes a $17,000 credit at a nearby General Motors dealer, has produced seven sales since the beginning of March, a veritable windfall of business for a builder who sold only 20 houses last year. “We needed to do something dramatic,â€

    What we need is to infuse the construction industry with a few more million illegal aliens.

    Well, it doesn't help that a lot of new construction is done with junk material and a lot of cut corners. I like to watch those home shows on TV and they have to go in and fix a lot of new houses. Funny that the houses survived just long enough to get off the new buyers insurance before falling apart.

    Right now, it's just not worth it to buy a new house. Jobs are scarce and houses cost a lot in up keep. Then you add in all the BS going on by Banks like Bank of America.. It's a lot safer and cheaper just to rent.

    =================================

    The American Dream is over. Grown adults are moving back into their senior parent's homes because they can't even afford rent.

    And the properties have been so devalued, banks won't loan money on them if used, or new.

    Well they won't be needing the millions of illegals working on construction, then will they? Thanks to scumbags like these who exploited the American taxpayers and cheap laborers, we are in this mess. The illegals exploited American taxpayers by forcing us to subsidize them and their baby-makers.

    Enforce the laws, deport ALL illegals NOW! They can take their families with them!
