    ARTICLE SYNOPSIS:
The growing opposition to the Security and Prosperity of North America, and the developing North American Union, has caused 16 state legislatures introduce resolutions that would block the sovereignty-destroying agreements.

Follow this link to the source article: "House Concurrent Resolution No. 33"

    COMMENTARY:
The Missouri House Rules Committee voted to pass H.C.R. 33, a resolution that would "urge the Congress of the United States...to withdraw the United States from any further participation in the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America...or in any way promote the creation of any structure to accomplish any form of North American Union." Members of the Rules Committee passed the resolution by a 5-3 vote, which enables it to move forward to a full House vote.

Residents of Missouri who are opposed to the SPP and NAU have already begun to contact their representatives in order to urge them to vote in favor of the final passage of H.C.R. 33. There are 163 members of the Missouri House, so a minimum of 82 representatives must vote positively if the resolution is to move forward to the Senate.

To date, there are a total of 16 state legislatures who have introduced resolutions opposing the SPP and NAU. These states are Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, and Washington. Of those states, Idaho is the only legislature to have successfully passed the legislation in both Houses.

Don't you mean another 'anti'-NAU success???

Why is Congress ignoring the states??? They better start realizing their cushy jobs are going to be gone if they don't line up with the people.

I thought the same thing Olivermyboy. We have to blame the author for the strange title.

I'm just glad the states keep joining the effort to stop it.

Where the Heck is North Carolina?

I'm having problems with my rep. I sent him an email about the Real ID, and he sent some canned response and the next email; he wanted to know where I lived to make sure I was one of his constituents. I assured him that I am and I do vote. I'll add this to my list.

    CCUSA,

    Sorry!!!

It makes perfect sense the media would distort the truth in such a manner. It's pure and simple propaganda--reminds me of the old Soviet Union!

Don't worry about it. I was thinking of changing the title but remembered we are suppose to keep the correct title if possible. I guess for reference.

I thought the same thing. What a way to mess with the message!

    Happy Easter, CCUSA!

I think the title is quite telling as they wrote it! I don't think any states have adopted a pro-NAU law.
