Happy Fathers Day
Just wanted to take a moment and wish all you dads out there a "Happy Fathers Day". Your role as a parent is more than you know. I know I didn't appreciate or even realize the impact my own dad had on my life....but he sure did. So anyway......enjoy your day. You are all very much appreciated.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! Fathers are as important as mothers.

This is my first Father's Day without my father. He died January of this year.

Brian,
I am sorry about the loss of your father earlier this year.

Thanks Annie! The post about Father's Day sort of bummed me out when I saw it. I still think of him often and miss him not being around.

Sorry Brian. It's been 2 fathers days without my dad and boy do I miss him. I spent a few tearfilled hours and then just figured I was one lucky lady to have a great dad like I did and decided I'd be happy about that. I still get a card and stuff. I know to some it might seem wierd but I honor him anyway.

Speaking of cards I sort of have a strange story. My mother went to the grocery store the other day, and as she came out she noticed a bag in a shopping cart. She picked it up and found 3 brand new Father's Day cards inside. I always thought giving cards was a little silly but my father always loved cards. This was the first time we didn't have to buy any but ended up with 3 of them. Also I thought the number of cards had a significant meaning to it since he had 3 children. I almost believe he set it up so we wouldn't forget to get him a card this year.

Aww.....that is sweet. I do think things like that happen. Maybe it's just wishful thinking......but it sure helps .
