    On Meet The Press" Fox: Conservative Group funded Hoffm

    Heard this this morning on Fox Meet the Press? I thought that was ABC or something.

    Anyway, they did a story on the Conservative group that funded Hoffman, threw a million at him, and are behind funding true conservatives, if you can find video, this is great/important news! Basicly, they are pumping funds into campaigns to thwart the radical NEO-CON fakes that have destroyed America to this point. They are funding somone in Florida also, who is in a tight race, forcing the Republican party to pull the neo-con.

    IT was early I was tired. Someone may have seen it.

    The organization that threw over $1.2 million at the Hoffman campaign is the Club for Growth:

    "Our Mission is Economic Freedom

    "Club for Growth is a national network of thousands of Americans, from all walks of life, who believe that prosperity and opportunity come through economic freedom. We work to promote public policies that promote economic growth primarily through legislative involvement, issue advocacy, research, training and educational activity.

    "The primary tactic of the separate Club for Growth PAC is to provide financial support from Club members to viable pro-growth candidates to Congress, particularly in Republican primaries.

    "Club for Growth Policy Goals:

    * Lower marginal income tax rates
    * Death tax repeal
    * Cutting and limiting government spending
    * Social Security reform with personal retirement accounts
    * Expanding free trade
    * Legal reform to end abusive lawsuits
    * Replacing the current tax code
    * School choice
    * Regulatory reform and deregulation"

    http://www.clubforgrowth.org/aboutus/

    They're Pro-Immigration, Globalist Free Trade Traitors whose free trade policies alone have cost the United States over 32 million good jobs, who want to give Wall Street and the Banks control over social security funds.

    I agree with their school choice platform and replacing the current tax code with the FairTax, although I believe they support the mandated Flat Tax. But these are long-time platform policies of the Republican Party already, so why are they targeting Republican candidates?

    They're targeting Republican candidates because of our anti-immigration protected Fair Trade policies. The Club for Growth is about population growth, not immigration controls, and free trade, not protected trade, and all without a tax base that pays for the consequences of the poverty and unemployment both policies generate.

    They aren't targeting Democrats, because their policies of open borders and free trade already conform to the policies of Club for Growth. That's why they would rather have another Democrat in the US House of Representatives than another Republican.

    Beware. Treachery is upon us. We're in our Period of Ironies and Opposites because organizations like "Club for Growth" are using flash cards about "conservatism" and "economic freedom" to lure people into the snare of their own self-destruction.

    Here's their propaganda for their Free Trade Petition:

    http://www.clubforgrowth.org/projects/?subSec=10

    "Who Wants to Return to President Hoover’s Trade Policies?
    In 1930, Congress passed and President Hoover signed into law the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. At the time, this protectionist measure was vigorously opposed by 1,028 of the nation’s top economists. They rightly predicted the tariffs would devastate the economy. And, in fact, the country subsequently plunged into the Great Depression.

    "Now some in Congress are considering ways to enact similar protectionist policies against China. Once again, 1,028 of America’s top economists, from all 50 states and top universities, have signed the following petition sponsored by the Club for Growth in opposition to protectionist policies against China. In addition to many other prominent and well-respected economists, signatories include Nobel Laureates Finn Kydland, Edward Prescott, Thomas Schelling, and Vernon Smith.

    "Here's the 1930 petition (PDF) as it ran in the New York Times.
    "Here's the 2007 petition (PDF) as it ran in the Wall Street Journal this morning.

    "PETITION

    "Concerning Protectionist Policies Against China

    "We, the undersigned, have serious concerns about the recent protectionist sentiments coming from Congress, especially with regards to China.

    "By the end of this year, China will most likely be the United States' second largest trading partner. Over the past six years, total trade between the two countries has soared, growing from $116 billion in 2000 to almost $343 billion in 2006. That's an average growth rate of almost 20% a year.

    "This marvelous growth has led to more affordable goods, higher productivity, strong job growth, and a higher standard of living for both countries. These economic benefits were made possible in large part because both China and the United States embraced freer trade.

    "As economists, we understand the vital and beneficial role that free trade plays in the world economy. Conversely, we believe that barriers to free trade destroy wealth and benefit no one in the long run. Because of these fundamental economic principles, we sign this letter to advise Congress against imposing retaliatory trade measures against China.

    "There is no foundation in economics that supports punitive tariffs. China currently supplies American consumers with inexpensive goods and low-interest rate loans. Retaliatory tariffs on China are tantamount to taxing ourselves as a punishment. Worse, such a move will likely encourage China to impose its own tariffs, increasing the possibility of a futile and harmful trade war. American consumers and businesses would pay the price for this senseless war through higher prices, worse jobs, and reduced economic growth.

    "We urge Congress to discard any plans for increased protectionism, and instead urge lawmakers to work towards fostering stronger global economic ties through free trade."

    ___________________________________

    The United States had a $268 billion TRADE DEFICIT with China in 2008. The United States had a world-wide $840 billion TRADE DEFICIT in goods in 2008. At $40,000 a manufacturing job with 25% of that DEFICIT in labor lost, that's 5,250,000 US manufacturing jobs that create another 5 jobs in our total economy for a total of 31,500,000 good jobs the US lost to "Free Trade".

    The Club for Growth hides behind banners of "free trade", "free markets" and "economic freedom" to promote trade policies that have bankrupted the United States.

    These are all the Globalists in our Universities who act as front men for our multi-nationals who want in-state tuition for illegal aliens, who want amnesty for illegal aliens, who want to merge the US with Canada and Mexico, and want unrestricted free trade with every country on the planet, while they call us "racists" and "xenophobes" because we want to secure our borders, enforce US immigration law, deport illegal aliens, protect our trade to protect our industries and the jobs they create for our people, and keep the sovereignty and independence of our little nation of the United States.

    Oh well, I thought it may have been a spot of hope.
    On his website in his own words, Hoffman said this:

    "Where do you stand on illegal immigration?

    "There is no question that our immigration policies are flawed. The answer, though, is not to put up a wall and stop all immigration. The answer is to create an easier path for immigrants to enter the United States – and to work here – while at the same time getting tough on illegal immigrants who commit crimes."

    "immigration policies are flawed"

    "not to put up a wall and stop all immigration"

    "create an easier path for immigrants to enter the US and to work here"

    That's right out of the National Council of La Raza Amnesty Pro-Immigration Playbook.

    Your numbers are horribly incorrect and your economic knowledge is even worse. Every manufacturing job does not create 5 additional jobs. Even the administration uses a spending multiplier of 1.6 for their analysis, not 5. We have not lost 35 million jobs due to foreign trade -- if we had, the unemployment rate would be at 30% right now.

    You ignore the jobs created in our country by foreign entities, which have boomed in the last decade.

    And FYI, just because an economist agrees with a pro-trade statement by the Club for Growth does not mean that they agree with EVERYTHING that is on the CFG's platform. As one of the economists on that list, I find it highly irresponsible and inflammatory of you to attribute all of these things to us. That's not what we signed and you should know better.
