Is it just all talk? Nope. In fact, Colorado House Democrats just passed a plethora of anti-2nd Amendment laws that would make Illinois and New York lawmakers sick with envy. Get a load of the measures that made it through the CO House this morning.

House Bill 1224 – Bans magazines with a capacity greater than fifteen rounds. (Passed 34-31)

House Bill 1226 – Repeals current law allowing individuals with a concealed carry permit to carry a firearm for self-defense on a college or university campus. (Passed 34-31)

House Bill 1228 – Imposes a “gun tax” for a background check when purchasing a firearm. (Passed 33-32)

House Bill 1229 – Criminalizes the private transfer of a firearm. (Passed 36-29)

Unbelievable. Not only do these thugs wish to create massive barriers to rights guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment, they want to make criminals out of law-abiding citizens for a simple private transfer!

I will never again travel to Colorado! DD

Colorado School Says Women Should Urinate or Vomit on Rapists Since They Can’t Shoot Them Anymore

When sweeping new gun control laws on the books in Colorado, one school has some interesting suggestions for the ladies if they ever find themselves getting raped:

A Colorado schoolhas caused a stir with an advisory that suggested women could urinate or vomit to deter a rape.

The list of 10 tips by the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was billed as “last resort” options to deter a sexual assault.

“Tell your attacker that you have a disease or are menstruating,” read one tip.

“Vomiting or urinating may also convince the attacker to leave you alone,” read another.

By Tuesday night, the list was taken down and replaced by an explanation and an apology. But it was too late.

The backlash had hit the Internet, and a hashtag on Twitter was created.

Conservative blogger Michelle Malkin was one of many who criticized the eyebrow-raising list using the hashtag #UCCSTips.

“New #UCCSTips for women: If vomiting or urinating doesn’t deter your attacker, try passing gas,” Malkin tweeted.

“#UCCSTips or if all else fails, ask attacker to pull your finger!” Jason Griggs tweeted.

Some women on the Colorado campus said they were confused by the list.

“Tell your attacker you have a disease or menstruating? I don’t understand how that will keep someone from attacking you,” student Leah McFann told CNN affiliate KRDO.

It won’t. You know what will?
