I'm going to post a couple very out of the ordinary cuts , just for the heck of it. you can listen or not.

These are personal favorites and not songs that are on the "beaten path"

    Cyrkle

    Turn down day
This was a band from the mid 60 that were so far ahead of their time
Pay attention to the drummer , Also note the double neck, The guitar player went on to be a maker of famous TV add jingles , he as passed on R.I.P

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1HHWAgR4bQ

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The four Preps
    26 miles to Catalina
I actually lived on Catalina Island in the 70s
The second song they do in this live performance is the second of there only 2 hit songs
On the far left you will see Jim Yester , sitting in on vocals , Jim Is the genius of the band The Association
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peoTc8xdfxk
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
The history of the legends of Crosby , Stills , Nash and Young go back to the early 60s , To recount the complete history would take days
I'll try to get a few select cuts

David Crosby normally is seen as having supporting roll in CSN
But he is a multi talented player, singer and writer
A fantastic song "The wall song"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNXWlgtf ... playnext=1

This is not the LP cut , it is a duo with Jerry Garcia
    ----------------------------------------------------------------

Please take the time to watch this , its good , but really , if nothing else watch the last 2 minutes , Steven Stills has never been known to be a ripper on guitar , but you are about to be amazed , Not to mention the harmonys of this band can't be matched , Even if you figured out the weird tuning he is using and got your hands a super high end Martin guitar ($20 grand range) you still would have a hard time doing this

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6NI4n8A2L8

I saw this live at Caesars palace years ago and it was almost a religious experience , they are that good
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    Dan Fogelburg , R.I.P

One of the most fantastic singer songwriters in history, He was also a killer guitarist

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iyXOEucrgc

Cheezy , corny and quite possibly the greatest love song every written
R.I.P Dan , you are missed
Please , listen to the lyrics , they are awesome
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Go6I2_P ... re=related
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

To finish it I'll give you a rare rendition of an obscure Thin Lizzy song , This is Gary Moore and Scott Gorham , the later guitar power of Lizzy

This is super power , This is rock and roll

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMhfo7nWukA

As a musician I can tell , these guys are cranked up
You won't find a band in the last 30 years that can do this , or come even close

    ENJOY

"It's the same style as Eddie Van Halen's!" Imagine that a Kramer guitar for $79 I couldn't say no.
