Report: Biden Just Suffered Through His Worst Week Yet – At the White House, 3 More Top Democrat Staffers Jumped Ship

    By Ben Dutka|June 6, 2022

Amid slumping poll numbers and record-high gas prices, the Joe Biden administration might be in its toughest position yet.
Most surveys show a heavy leaning toward Republicans for the midterm elections, and Democrat support for the President also appears to be waning. Inflation and the border crisis also continue to hurt Biden’s reputation.

In addition, according to news from Capitol Hill, Biden’s team has become increasingly fractured.
Over the past year or so, there have been numerous reports of administration staffers who have abandoned the administration. Vice President Kamala Harris has also suffered through an exodus of aides.
And last week, Biden saw even more staffers disappear — which adds to the whispers that many are not happy with the President’s position.

In less than 7 days, 3 more top White House employees have jumped ship, starting with Rapid Response Director Mike Gwin. Gwin held the position since Biden swore him in, but now he’s headed to the Treasury Department.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also confirmed last Wednesday that assistant press secretary Vedant Patel was leaving to become principal deputy spokesperson at the State Department.
Lastly, press office chief of staff Amanda Finney is moving to the Energy Department. And according to an NBC report:

…the West Wing is in for a significant shakeup over Biden’s stagnant and slumped polling numbers.
More than a dozen top aides have left Vice President Kamala Harris’s office in the last year, and more than 20 black staffers have allegedly left the White House since late 2021, according to the NY Post.
It doesn’t seem as if the exodus will end here, either.
We’ve heard rumors that chief of staff Ron Klain will be disappearing after the midterms, which would be a significant departure in Washington.

The Biden administration has stated that moving people from position to position is normal, but this seems to be happening consistently for long periods of time. And those leaving seem to be distancing themselves from the White House.
The American public tends to view these departures as more bad news for the administration.
Most point toward the sinking poll numbers (in some cases, evidently record-setting) as reason for these departures. And just recently, we’ve heard Biden himself is frustrated with his team.

For now, it would appear the White House isn’t on solid footing, and that goes double when considering the upcoming midterm elections.

Biden White House suffers ‘wave of departures’ as 21 Black staffers resign, others frustrated with bad culture

by Frank Bojazi a day agoup dated a day ago

Since late last year, at least 21 Black staffers have left the White House or are planning to leave soon. It’s no wonder why, says those who remain: A work environment with little support from their superiors and fewer chances for promotion, they describe.

According to one current and one former White House official, the departures have been so pronounced that some Black aides have adopted a term for them: “Blaxit.”
In December, the first big exit came when Kamala Harris’ senior adviser and chief spokesperson Symone Sanders announced she was leaving, ultimately for a gig at MSNBC. Harris senior aides Tina Flournoy, Ashley Etienne and Vincent Evans, and public engagement head Cedric Richmond have also left since then, said report.
The ones who also departed are Public engagement aide Carissa Smith, gender policy aide Kalisha Dessources Figures, National Security Council senior director Linda Etim, digital engagement director Cameron Trimble, associate counsel Funmi Olorunnipa Badejo, chief of staff Ron Klain advisers Elizabeth Wilkins and Niyat Mulugheta, press assistant Natalie Austin, National Economic Council aides Joelle Gamble and Connor Maxwell, and presidential personnel aides Danielle Okai, Reggie Greer and Rayshawn Dyson. And now, according to White House officials, Deputy White House counsel Danielle Conley and Council of Economic Advisers aide Saharra Griffin are among others planning to leave in the coming weeks.

Among outside observers who push for the diversification of government ranks, concerns have been raised about the exodus.
“I have heard about an exodus of Black staffers from the White House, ‘Blaxit,’ and I am concerned. Black voters accounted for 22 percent of President Biden’s voters in November 2020. It is essential that Black staffers are not only recruited to serve in senior, mid-level and junior White House positions, but are also included in major policy and personnel decisions and have opportunities for advancement,” said Spencer Overton, president of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, which tracks government staff diversity numbers.

Those concerns were pushed back by a White House official, who said that around 14 percent of current White House staffers identify as Black, in line with national proportions. The number is expected to increase as more Black staffers are brought on board and 15 percent of Black staffers have been promoted in the last year, the official added.
“The president is incredibly proud to have built what continues to be the most diverse White House staff in history, and he is committed to continuing historic representation for Black staff and all communities. This is a normal time for turnover across the board in any administration and Black staff have been promoted at a higher rate than staff who are not diverse,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
Moreover, a number of staffers who left said it was on good terms, as some departures were for graduate school opportunities, some went to different cabinet departments. Several said they were leaving because of family matters, like Dessources Figures said she wanted to focus on her young children, as did Conley.
But a need to refocus in general was how others described their departure, having spent years operating in a tense work environment with little time off.
“I worked for both the President and the Vice President during the campaign cycle, and considered the chance to serve the American people in the Biden-Harris White House nothing short of an honor. I loved my experience on the press team, and left because I wanted a chance to spend more time with family after nearly three years straight of campaigns and government work,” Austin said in an email.

Report: Joe Biden Losing Control Of The White House

by Hailey Sanibel about 10 hours ago

Democrats are so convinced of their insane ideology and therefore so befuddled when the real world doesn’t respond positively to it that it is tearing the White House apart. Amid an onslaught of one horrendous policy decision after another, Politico is now reporting that “[m]orale inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. is plummeting.”

According to a new release from the left-leaning outlet, which can no longer pretend these issues don’t exist, things are so bad in the White House that there are “growing fears that the parallels to Jimmy Carter, another first-term Democrat plagued by soaring prices and a foreign policy morass, will stick.”
What’s more, Biden has to swallow the biggest pill out there for an egomaniacal dictator: The American people hate him more than Trump. Politico further writes:
“The president has expressed exasperation that his poll numbers have sunk below those of Donald Trump, whom Biden routinely refers to in private as “the worst president” in history and an existential threat to the nation’s democracy.”

Compounding this last point is the fact that Donald Trump was lied about for four straight years and endured the gigantic Clinton-orchestrated hoax about Russian Collusion. He was impeached twice over lies. What’s more, the entire corporate media apparatus enjoyed lying on a daily basis about him as much as Jeffrey Toobin enjoyed being on Zoom calls.
Despite corporate media’s corrupt relationship with the Biden administration, no amount of spinning and gaslighting has saved him. The American people watch horrors unfold in real time. A sense of euphoric schadenfreude rushes over me thinking about how this eats away at the senile, corrupt, and vile president.

Making bad policies and doubling down on them all lead to a really basic question: How can they be so wrong about everything? At this point, if Joe Biden or the Democrats introduces legislation, you can be sure that the opposite is a better and freer idea.
And yet, despite being so wrong about everything – life, science, politics, policy – Team Biden refuses to look inward and ask why their positions are failing or why the American people are rejecting it. Instead, they plow forward with inevitable failure. Such failure leads to moments like this, which Breitbart commented on:
“The Politico report adds to other recent stories outling Biden’s flailing presidency, including an NBC report detailing a frustrated president reminding his staffers he is the president and a CNN story detailing his messaging struggles online despite a team of over 70 people dedicated to online strategy.”
There is something sad and pathetic about the idea of Joe standing in front of his staffers and attempting to regain some authority by playing the “I’m the President” card. One wonders if he ever had any control, but he surely doesn’t now.
    Breitbart continues:
“Biden is exasperated, the report says, that his approval ratings are below former President Donald Trump’s.
The report also notes Biden is “far more prone to salty language behind the scenes than popularly known” and “erupted” over the optics of the baby formula shortages.”
Now, this is terrific news for the growing tide of conservative momentum in November, but it can’t be stated enough that Biden’s bad policies have a real impact each day. Rampant inflation, empty shelves, diminished retirement accounts, and unavailable home ownership all have real-life consequences.
