Colin Powell was sent to the UN to expound information that may or may not have been true. He basically was thrown under the bus by the GWB gang, and when the GOP threw up (sic) McCain and Palin as their ticket, I was a bit embarrassed as a card-carrying Republican. Mitt Romney and Ron Paul both had twice the brains and common sense than those two.
Colin Powell has my respect and for Cheney and Limbaugh to be attacking him because he is African-American and voted for a man of color is petty stupidity. So is the latest Obama scandal of him sending wreaths to the memorials of the Confederacy as well as the memorial for African-American soldiers that fought against the Confederacy is somehow food for serious talk and debate. So are the scandals that Obama takes Dijon mustard on his hamburger, takes his jacket off in the Oval Office and Michelle doesn't wear sleeves. Those heinous crimes seem to trump world problems in MSM these days, and if that is the best the GOP can come up with, they are a sorry bunch.
