Just when we think the liberal media cannot possibly sink any lower, they manage to plunge deeper into the gutter.

Ever since the Obama Administration declared a war on Christianity by forcing Catholic institutions and others to subsidize services that violate their religious doctrine, the Media Research Center has led the charge in exposing the liberal media’s complicity in this shameless war on religion.

And now, one of the liberal media’s most popular outlets, The Huffington Post, has escalated the war on religion to a degree that even shocked us.

In a column publish in The Huffington Post, Larry Doyle launches an absolutely deranged and despicable anti-Catholic tirade.

The title of the post says it all: The Jesus-Eating Cult of Rick Santorum.

Responding to this outrageous column, MRC Founder and President, Brent Bozell, wrote a letter to Arianna Huffington, head of The Huffington Post, demanding that she withdraw this sickening column as an admission that Doyle has gone too far, even by the Huffington Post’s low standards.

By signing the letter, you will send a loud and clear message to the liberal media: conservative Americans will not stand for vicious assaults on religion.

Brent declares that “anti-Catholicism is the last acceptable form of bigotry,” and HuffPost is shamelessly giving a platform to the most vicious purveyor of such bigotry.

Please sign Brent Bozell’s letter condemning The Huffington Post’s decision to publish filth, and let the liberal media know that anti-Catholic bigotry is every bit as inexcusable as other forms of bigotry.

We have had enough with these arrogant bigots, who pen inflammatory and absolutely vile opinion pieces, only to be embraced by the liberal press.

Let The Huffington Post know how disgusted you are that they would publish Larry Doyle’s hate-filled, foaming-at-the-mouth diatribe and make sure to forward the letter to your friends.

Enough is enough.

Thank you.

David

Larry Doyle and the Huffington Post let loose with a "comedy" column about Rick and Santorum and the Catholic Church.

Some highlights:

"Followers then line up to eat the Jesus meat and drink his holy blood in a cannibalistic reverie not often seen outside Cinemax"
"If Santorum is a good Catholic, and he appears to be among the very best, our real president with be Benedict XVI (a "former" Nazi, by the way)."
"Need I remind you that only once in our great history has a Roman Catholic been elected president, and how tragically it ended?"
"Even more chilling is a possible connection between the Roman Catholic Church pedophile program and NAMBLA, which I discovered after conducting some research on the internet."
