New York Republican Rep. Claudia Tenney is calling for President Joe Biden to be impeached from office.
“How I feel about Joe Biden? I see this guy as a talentless, career politician and completely derelict in his duty, which is why I’ve called for him to be impeached! One of the things about the Republicans that is kind of frustrating at times is, we don’t fight. We have to fight every single day, right now. I stand up to the status quo in both parties, I have a core set of principles. Can we preserve this Republic? It is all on the line. It’s not easy to fight the fight that patriots fight, but it’s worth it,” she said.
“Whether it is Joe Biden’s dereliction of duty at the Southern Border or his disastrous retreat in Afghanistan, I have called for Joe Biden to answer to the American people in Impeachment hearings. I will not stand by while Biden and Pelosi trample on our constitution to push their far-left agenda. I look forward to working with a Republican House Majority next Congress to impeach Biden and hold his administration accountable for their numerous failures,” Tenney added.

Several Republicans have already gotten behind the idea of impeachment and oversight since the GOP won control of the U.S. House.
GOP Rep. Kevin McCarthy, who appears poised to become the speaker, said: “Over the last two years of Democrats’ one-party rule in Washington, House Democrats have not lifted a finger to engage in oversight and accountability of the Biden administration’s actions and abuses of power. We will leave no stone unturned in order to deliver the accountability the American people deserve.”

The House Oversight and Reform Committee, the main investigative body in that legislative chamber, will likely be helmed by Kentucky GOP Rep. James Comer, who echoed a similar message as McCarthy.
“Republicans will return the oversight committee to its primary duty to root out waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in the federal government and hold the Biden administration accountable. We will use all tools at our disposal to identify problems and propose solutions that make the federal government more efficient, effective, transparent, and accountable to the American people,” Comer said, saying his committee will investigate between 40 and 50 matters.
“Republicans will return the oversight committee to its primary duty to root out waste, fraud, abuse, and mismanagement in the federal government and hold the Biden administration accountable,” Comer said.

Texas GOP Rep. Lance Gooden, whose district has been overrun by the surge of illegal aliens, argued that Biden’s failure to secure the U.S.-Mexico border has increased the likelihood that Republicans may push to impeach Biden if the GOP regains control of Congress.
“I really believe that impeachment could be on the table. And I would support that, certainly. The bar was so low to impeach President Trump. And even if the bar were raised exponentially, I believe that President Biden has met that requirement. What we’re seeing at the border is not just criminal, but it is immoral,” Gooden said.
New York Rep. Elise Stefanik, the No. 3 Republican in the House, told Just the News that the border crisis is now “inflaming her own state.”
“Anything is on the table when we are in the majority. We’re focused like a laser on the crises in America, and what I hear from voters even in my district in Northern New York — because I represent border patrol officers who have been transferred again and again and again to the southern border — is that the crisis after crisis is a catastrophe,” Stefanik said.

Ohio GOP Senator-elect J.D. Vance summed up the legitimacy of impeaching Biden.
“The thing that I think Biden has done that is genuinely unprecedented in the history of this country is to sanction, encourage and pay for an invasion of this country. A lot of negative things I could say about Bill Clinton, but Bill Clinton did not allow an invasion on this scale, or actively encourage people to do it, even while the leading cause of death for communities, among young people, is the fentanyl they’re bringing in from Mexico,” Vance said.

“This is ridiculous, it’s traitorous conduct, and we need to do something about it,” he added.
Reps. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) and Mike Loychik (R-Ohio) described the Biden administration’s sale of oil to China as “impeachable.”
Fox News host Tucker Carlson lambasted Biden over his energy policies and called for the president to be impeached for selling U.S. oil to China.
