LAS VEGAS -- Another construction company is taking some heat, as more construction workers march on the streets in protest.
This time, it’s workers from Select Build wanting better working conditions.
The protest was in front of Select Build on Corporate Center Drive near Pecos Street.
The workers said they're frustrated and angry. They have a list of complaints, and they said they want action immediately.
According to the workers at Select Build, the company only has one Port A Potty available for a crew of 40.
They claim the Port A Potty has not been cleaned for a week.
Another complaint is not having water on the job site, and they said they receive only a $35 weekly allowance cut to buy drinking water.
Workers said they're tired of working in a deplorable and unhealthy environment.
The workers at Select Build said since the start of 2007, nearly 9,000 construction workers have lost their jobs in Nevada.
Workers said they understand things are tough in this economy, but they said that's no reason to create unfair working conditions.
This is the third protest by the workers at Select Build.
In the past, they have demanded safer working conditions and said they were extremely angry when their salaries were cut by 10 percent.
