As many of us know, Obama is very sympathetic to illegal immigrants.

But I would like to talk about Obama's views on the Iraqi War.

1. Obama shouts over and over again that he was against the Iraqi War from the very beginning when he was still an elected official in Illinois.

2. To me, it is very easy to shout that you were against the Iraqi from the relatively safe position of an official in the Illinois government.

But I wonder how Obama would hare reacted if he had to vote for or against
the Iraqi War from the position of an elected U.S. Senator.

My point is this: Who knows how Senator Obama would have voted if he had experienced the pressure from the President and other Senators to vote for the war?
As we know, the majority of Senators voted for the Iraqi War when Bush asked for their approval.

3. So, when it comes to Iraq under Saddam, I think that Obama's opponents and media commentators should pressure Obama with questions about
Saddam like the following questions:

"Mr. Obama, let's assume that Bush had not sent troops to Iraq to overthrow Saddam and that Saddam was still in power today.

"1. How would you have dealt with Saddam these past four year, that is, how would you have advised President Bush to deal with Saddam these past four years, if Saddam was still in power today?

"2. Also, if Saddam was still in power today, how would you deal with him in the future if you were elected President this November?

Again, I say that the media and Obama's opponents should put pressue on Obama to tell us how he would handle Saddam, if Saddam was still in power today. mirse@aol.com
