They need to learn English to get a job and to keep their welfare benefits until they find work, but English classes have been overwhelmed and unable to provide spaces for many.

Exactly. Just heard this on a newsbreak on a local talk radio. Why oh why are we continuing to allow third world, non English speaking refugees, with NO skills whatsoever to keep coming here!?! INSANE!

As long as we allow unchecked illegal immigration, anything goes it seems. That's why we must enforce immigration laws and deport illegal aliens.

I notice the huge difference between these new immigrants and those who are here illegally..these new ones are hungry to assimilate.

I think it's because most illegals in their mind only plan to work a few years then go home. The only ones who want them to stay permanently are the LaRaza race hustlers and vote grubbing politicians.

I wonder how many refugees Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have helped. Seems like they would be the most logical.

Immigrants who take English-language classes at East County’s community colleges usually wait a year so they are eligible for the California resident fee of $26 per unit instead of the international student fee of $190 per unit.
What are they doing in the meantime?
