Thread: Ohio school gets 700 applicants for janitorial job!

Its hard to believe this many Americans are interested in doing jobs that Americans won't do isnt it? I hope they use e-verify in that school district.



MASSILON, Ohio – Evidence of the slumping economy is stacking up at an Ohio school which has nearly 700 applications for one open janitorial job.

Officials at Perry Local Schools near Canton in northeast Ohio say they've extended the deadline until Monday to accommodate the overwhelming response to the week-old posting.

The full-time position at Edison Junior High School pays $15 to $16 an hour plus benefits.

Superintendent John Richard says many applicants are laid-off workers with heart-wrenching stories about the tough economic times.

Forty-nine-year-old Donna Croston says she applied after losing jobs at two nearby factories that closed.

Croston says her chances of being hired amid the hundreds of applicants are slim, but she's hoping to get lucky.

We've got to do something! We can't let this government continue with policies destroying our nation and bringing heartbreak to our people.

I live not too far from this town and I can tell you from personal experience, starting with Americans buying Japanese cars, this entire area has been suffering for years. Shipping even more manufacturing jobs to other nations has only added to the grief many families are suffering here, and have been suffering for over 2 decades.

My brother, who is one of the most laid back, peaceful men you will ever meet says when a car is waiting to get out in traffic and it's a Japanese car, he passes by (he would normallly let out most of them; he's really that courteous) and tells them, "You wait there for a while--that Japanese family you gave a job to will be by soon to let you out."

Towns, streets, highways, city services all have suffered and gone downhill a great deal. Many of us are working 2 and 3 jobs just to hang on. Something better be done fast or the rest of the nation will be just like us before too long. So many people in my relatively small town of about 50,000 have lost their homes, the city hired a person just to handle foreclosures. Thousands of families have been devastated just in my county alone and this is a county with a large rural area, and so, not that many people.

Buy American, hire American, demand American. Only 1 in five consumers even checks the labels. That's not enough. Call companies who have outsourced our work and complain! Loudly! I have called many, many times and the Americans I've talked to have told me repeatedly the company needs to hear these complaints.

What a sad commentary to the times we are going through. And yet more legal immigrants arrive and illegal immigrants have these types of jobs. We've read were schools have had to let go there cafeteria and/or janitorial staff because they did not have the necessary 'documentation.'

It's way beyond time that we throw every Free Trade Traitor and Open Borders Fanatic out of office, no mercy, no exceptions.

We are in a race to the bottom that will result in the extinction of the American People.
