Thread: We Speak English Sign

I went to the Italian store I shop at this afternoon and parked by a hair and nail salon. I do not usually park in front of that store. When I got out of my car I noticed a sign in the window that said: "We speak English and we understand Espanol, Francais, and Italiano. No appointment necessary." It seems that more and more there are signs cropping up stating: "We speak English." In the past I only saw Se Habla Espanol" or the odd ethnic one like Russian.

Welcome back America language of English.

BALTIMORE -- A Snow Hill man will spend three years in prision for trying to bribe state and federal officals in a scheme that cluminated in raids on several Lower Shore businesses last fall.

Javed Iqbal, 40, was also given three years supervised release Tuesday for a racketeering conspiracy related to a scheme to bribe officials with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to illegally obtain green cards and the Maryland Comptroller's Office to receive abatement of state taxes, said officials from the U. S. Attorney for the District of Maryland.

I like that, it basically says that we speak English (as we should) and we also can cater to customers who speak Spanish, french etc.
