It may not rank as the most compelling reason to curb greenhouse gases, but reducing our emissions might just save humanity from a pre-emptive alien attack, scientists claim.


Watching from afar, extraterrestrial beings might view changes in Earth's atmosphere as symptomatic of a civilisation growing out of control – and take drastic action to keep us from becoming a more serious threat, the researchers explain.


This highly speculative scenario is one of several described by a Nasa-affiliated scientist and colleagues at Pennsylvania State University that, while considered unlikely, they say could play out were humans and alien life to make contact at some point in the future.


Shawn Domagal-Goldman of Nasa's Planetary Science Division and his colleagues compiled a list of plausible outcomes that could unfold in the aftermath of a close encounter, to help humanity "prepare for actual contact".


In their report, Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis, the researchers divide alien contacts into three broad categories: beneficial, neutral or harmful.


Beneficial encounters ranged from the mere detection of extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI), for example through the interception of alien broadcasts, to contact with cooperative organisms that help us advance our knowledge and solve global problems such as hunger, poverty and disease.


Another beneficial outcome the authors entertain sees humanity triumph over a more powerful alien aggressor, or even being saved by a second group of ETs. "In these scenarios, humanity benefits not only from the major moral victory of having defeated a daunting rival, but also from the opportunity to reverse-engineer ETI technology," the authors write.


Other kinds of close encounter may be less rewarding and leave much of human society feeling indifferent towards alien life. The extraterrestrials may be too different from us to communicate with usefully. They might invite humanity to join the "Galactic Club" only for the entry requirements to be too bureaucratic and tedious for humans to bother with. They could even become a nuisance, like the stranded, prawn-like creatures that are kept in a refugee camp in the 2009 South African movie, District 9, the report explains.


The most unappealing outcomes would arise if extraterrestrials caused harm to humanity, even if by accident. While aliens may arrive to eat, enslave or attack us, the report adds that people might also suffer from being physically crushed or by contracting diseases carried by the visitors. In especially unfortunate incidents, humanity could be wiped out when a more advanced civilisation accidentally unleashes an unfriendly artificial intelligence, or performs a catastrophic physics experiment that renders a portion of the galaxy uninhabitable.


To bolster humanity's chances of survival, the researchers call for caution in sending signals into space, and in particular warn against broadcasting information about our biological make-up, which could be used to manufacture weapons that target humans. Instead, any contact with ETs should be limited to mathematical discourse "until we have a better idea of the type of ETI we are dealing with."


The authors warn that extraterrestrials may be wary of civilizations that expand very rapidly, as these may be prone to destroy other life as they grow, just as humans have pushed species to extinction on Earth. In the most extreme scenario, aliens might choose to destroy humanity to protect other civilizations.


"A preemptive strike would be particularly likely in the early phases of our expansion because a civilization may become increasingly difficult to destroy as it continues to expand. Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilization expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of the Earth's atmosphere, via greenhouse gas emissions," the report states.


"Green" aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet. "These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets," the authors write.


Even if we never make contact with extraterrestrials, the report argues that considering the potential scenarios may help to plot the future path of human civilization, avoid collapse and achieve long-term survival.

Having failed with drowning polar bears, global superstorms, rising sea levels and a myriad of other manufactured hoaxes, global warming alarmists have invented a new threat to try and persuade us to pay carbon taxes directly to Al Gore and the global elite – vengeful environmentalist extraterrestrials from outer space.

A new study conducted by researchers at Nasa’s Planetary Science Division posits that “green” ETs might get angry at Bubba driving his gas-guzzling SUV and respond by wiping humankind off the face of the earth to “protect other civilizations”.

“Green” aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have caused on Earth and wipe us out to save the planet. “These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets,” the authors write.

Is it really any wonder why polls show belief in global warming is collapsing? A recent Rasmussen survey found that 69 per cent of Americans believed scientists had likely falsified climate change data to push their agenda.

They’ve fed us with drowning polar bears, overpopulation paranoia, global superstorms and all manner of manufactured lies in an effort to terrify people into accepting the hoax and blithely handing over their carbon taxes to Al Gore and the Rothschilds, but none of it has worked. Gore’s Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) has all but collapsed. The fact that they have now resorted to playing the “alien invasion” card illustrates how desperate and discredited the climate change cult has become.

There are many people who lament the decline and fall of NASA since its Apollo heydays, but if this is what taxpayer funds are being spent on, the organization’s demise cannot come soon enough.

Let’s not forget this is the same government agency that uses taxpayer dollars to fund the work of global warming activist Dr. James Hansen, the man who endorsed an eco-fascist book that called for cities to be razed to the ground, industrial civilization to be destroyed and genocidal population reduction measures to be implemented in the name of preventing climate change.

Perhaps the aliens should hire Hansen as their PR spokesman.

Hansen has received well over $1 million taxpayer dollars from NASA in the last four years to pursue his activist agenda. He is a key figure in the global warming movement, for it was his 1988 with testimony to a US Senate committee chaired by Al Gore that really got the ball rolling for the elite in their mission to hijack the environmental movement and promote apocalyptic fears of climate change as a means of pushing carbon taxes and a highly regulated society.

Aside from all this, why do we need aliens to destroy humanity and “save the planet”? White House science czar John P. Holdren seems to have it all in hand. Holdren’s 1977 book Ecoscience called for a “planetary regime” to carry out forced abortions and mandatory sterilization procedures, as well as drugging the water supply, in an effort to cull the human surplus.

Holdren is now in charge of “geoengineering” the planet to protect against supposed man-made climate change. For me, this represents a far greater and more imminent threat to humanity than any fantasy about alien invasions from outer space.

I have had enough of the lies. Maybe Greenhouse gases will SAVE THE EARTH as it moves towards an area of space, with the entire solar system, that has higher than normal amounts of matter per square inch that could cut down the amount of sunlight reaching the Earth.

The left has run out of all other options—so now they’re banking on an alien invasion.

First Paul Krugman suggested that if we faked an alien invasion, the government would have the go ahead to spend the crazy amounts of money he wanted it to spend in the first place. Considering the 15 trillion dollar deficit, it’s an open question of just what the debt pile for Krugman’s War of the Worlds Economics would look like. But Krugman did argue that the stimulus was far too small, so the wages of Krugman’s alien invasion might be quadrillions in debt.

This is what a Nobel prize winning economist has been reduced to. Playing Orson Welles and imagining how much we could spend if only the flying saucers landed outside of Princeton.

Second, Obama’s post-space exploration NASA suggests that if we don’t comply with global warming dictates, space aliens will invade and destroy us.
This is what NASA has been reduced to. Parroting idiotic Global Warming propaganda. Without the Space Shuttle, we’re hitchhiking on the Russian Soyuz while the agency itself has been retasked to promoting the Global Warming fraud and Muslim self-esteem. We no longer have a space agency. Instead we have some bastardized equivalent of the ESA which is trying to intimidate us into biking to work or the aliens will attack.

Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilizational expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of Earth’s atmosphere (e.g. via greenhouse gas emissions), which therefore changes the spectral signature of Earth. While it is difficult to estimate the likelihood of this scenario, it should at a minimum give us pause as we evaluate our expansive tendencies.

If this claim were any dumber it would share in a Nobel prize with Krugman. Any “ETI” would be viewing our planet as it was decades if not centuries ago. So in this idiotic scenario, the ETI’s would see human civilization as it was in the Industrial Revolution and then show up to blow everyone up in a carbon neutral way, just as Al Gore was being elected Oracle of the World.

Given that we have already altered our environment in ways that may viewed as unethical by universalist ETI, it may be prudent to avoid sending any message that shows evidence of our negative environmental impact. The chemical composition of Earth’s atmosphere over recent time may be a poor choice for a message because it would show a rapid accumulation of carbon dioxide from human activity. Likewise, any message that indicates of widespread loss of biodiversity or rapid rates of expansion may be dangerous if received by such universalist ETI.

So we’re dealing here with aliens who are advanced enough to span the stars and destroy all life on earth—but have managed to do all this without industrial exploitation or carbon emissions. And who are passionately motivated by a desire to keep earth’s average temperatures rigidly fixed to the way they were in the first half of the 20th century… for some inexplicable reason.

The only question is are the new hires at NASA actually this dumb? Maybe the only qualification to work there anymore is manipulating hockey graphs.

ETI that place intrinsic value on civilizations may ideally wish that our civilization changes its ways, so we can survive along with all the other civilizations. But if ETI doubt that our course can be changed, then they may seek to preemptively destroy our civilization in order to protect other civilizations from us.

Has anyone at NASA even heard of E=MC2? Or has that been discarded in favor of some more advanced Muslim self-esteem formula like KORAN=JIHADTERRORISM2. Or does relativity no longer matter when promoting junk science like Global Warming.

If it is possible for at least some humans to advocate harm to their own civilization by drawing upon universalist ethical principles, then it is at a minimum plausible that ETI could advocate harm to humanity following similar principles

Can we extrapolate hateful aliens from self-hating humans? Interesting question, but an invalid premise. Self-hatred doesn’t derive from universal ethical principles, it uses them to escape its identity. In the same way that self-hating Jews do. Self-haters may incorporate external criticisms into their identity, but in the absence of such interaction, there is no reason to assume that self-hatred translates into external hatred.

But then isn’t this entire scenario a case of humans advocating harm to their own civilization?

The NASA\Krugman War of the Worlds scenarios reflect the desperation of the left. Their agenda has flopped so badly, that they have to imagine absolutely fantastic scenarios under which it could be implemented.

That’s not to say that there isn’t a serious threat from aliens. The one in the White House has already caused an enormous amount of harm. But I don’t think curbing our carbon will make him go back to his planet.

There’s a study making headlines that basically says we need to put an end to global warming — or else eco-conscious aliens might attack and kill us all to save the planet.
But what’s causing so much fuss is not the report itself, it’s that one of the authors happens to be a NASA scientist:

NASA quickly took to its Twitter account, writing two posts to clarify that the report was not an official NASA study:

Domagal-Goldman went on to say he considers the likelihood of contact with an alien civilization to be low, but did address the global warming connection:

One of the scenarios we considered in the review was the possibility that an alien civilization would contact us because they were concerned about the exponential growth of our civilization, as evidenced by climate change. This isn’t an entirely new idea; remember, this was a review effort. Indeed, Keanu Reaves recently played a similar alien in the movie “The Day the Earth Stood Still.” There were lots of other ideas we reviewed, but this was probably the most provocative.

So what did the study actually say?
For one thing, if aliens exist, all our greenhouse gas emissions could give us away as an “advanced” species and make us seem like potential “Avatar”-style invaders, leading extraterrestrial life to launch a preemptive strike against us.

Or, if they’re ecologically-minded, they could observe our “destructive tendencies” and see a need to step in and “wipe humanity out in order to preserve the Earth system as a whole.”

To avoid such negative possibilities, the authors recommend limiting our growth and immediately lessening our impact on global ecosystems to avoid giving off the appearance of a “rapidly expansive civilization”:

It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets. We acknowledge that the pursuit of emissions reductions and other ecological projects may have much stronger justifications than those that derive from [extraterrestrial intelligence] encounter, but that does not render ETI encounter scenarios insignificant or irrelevant.

Still, an alien encounter might not be all bad. The paper categorizes the potential outcomes three ways: beneficial, neutral and harmful.

A neutral outcome would be if the aliens were to have no desire to communicate, observing us without making contact, or were only a “mild nuisance.”

In a beneficial outcome, aliens could help us solve global problems like poverty or hunger. Of course, another way to reach a “beneficial outcome” would be if humans were to fight and overcome them.

But in a harmful outcome, such as the global warming retribution scenario, the aliens could eat, enslave or attack us, or spread their alien diseases around and make us sick.

Can Man-Made Global Warming—also known as “Climate Change,” when the weather is cold—be saved?

It could have been so fine. Here, at long last, was the magic incantation for controlling people’s lives. Here was the formula by which a gang of nasty little nerds could take away your car, turn off your air conditioner, confiscate your light bulbs, restrict you to one sheet of toilet paper per visit to the john, raise your taxes as high as they pleased, and do virtually anything else they could ever think of doing to you—and all in the name of a noble cause: to save the planet.

And then the wheels fell off the juggernaut. The “Climategate” scandal, in which thousands of confidential emails were leaked to European newspapers, exposed the alleged scientists as liars, finaglers, plotters, and frauds.But they haven’t given up! They’ll gobble up our money and our freedoms if it’s the last thing they ever do.

To that end, Al Gore declares that “climate change deniers”—implying that no one but a wicked idiot could ever have any doubts about his apocalyptic spook story—are “like racists,” and should be treated like racists. Chimed in The Democrat Examiner (Aug. 28), “[D]o climate change deniers need to be socially ostracized and marginalized in order to illustrate their moral and intellectual failure concerning the environment?”

Of course, they’ve been doing that all along. Everyone who refuses to bow down to the idol that the nerds have made is branded “anti-Science” by the trained-seal “news” media.

But just calling names will only get them so far. After all, the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN)—they built that giant particle accelerator in Switzerland—now says that climate change is caused not by SUVs or toilet paper, but by the sun and cosmic rays. CERN has known this for years, but held back from releasing its findings due to political pressure from the Global Warming mob. (See “The Other Climate Theory,” Sept. 7, by Anne Jolis of The Wall Street Journal, in online.wsj.com/) They can hardly accuse CERN of being a Red State anti-Science ignoramus.

Enter NASA. NASA may not be able to put a man on the moon anymore, but by gum, they’ll go to bat for Man-Made Global Warming.

In a paper entitled “Would Contact with Extraterrestrials Benefit or Harm Humanity? A Scenario Analysis,” NASA nebbish Shawn Domagal-Goldman discusses how space aliens might home in on our carbon footprint. (You can read the whole paper here) Let us quote directly from Section 5 of the paper.

“Humanity may just now be entering the period in which rapid civilizational expansion could be detected by an ETI [Extraterrestrial Intelligence] because our expansion is changing the composition of Earth’s atmosphere (e.g. via greenhouse gas emissions), which therefore changes the spectral signature of Earth… it should at a minimum give us pause as we evaluate our expansive tendencies.” (And all you smart-mouths at CERN please just shut up!)

He goes on, “If one’s goal is to maximize ecosystem flourishing, then perhaps it would be better if humanity did not exist, or at least if it existed in a significantly reduced form…”

Are you getting this? Is anybody out there willing to help maximize the ecosystem by committing suicide? Don’t all volunteer at once.

And then, “Given that we have already altered our environment in ways that may be viewed as unethical by universalist ETI”—Klaatu barada nikto!—“it may be prudent to avoid sending any message that shows evidence of our negative environmental impact.” If we lie low and live like 12th-century Scottish peasants, the aliens might overlook us. “The chemical composition of Earth’s atmosphere over recent time may be a poor choice for a message because it would show a rapid accumulation of carbon dioxide. Likewise any message that indicates of widespread loss of biodiversity or rapid rates of expansion may be dangerous if received by such universalist ETI.” Here they come to avenge the five-spotted burping newt!

Finally, “advanced ETI may already know about our rapid environmental impact by listening to leaked electronic signals…”

Here we come to rest on very familiar ground. In how many old black-and-white science fiction movies have you seen this exchange? Terrified Earthman: “But how is it that you speak our language?” Scary Bug-eyed Space Alien: “For many years we have monitored your radio and television transmissions.”

Wow! Wait’ll the ETs find out that Jerry Lewis was dumped from the Labor Day telethon. They’ll send the Death Star after us.

But there you have it, straight from the horse’s… er, mouth. You’d better all be good little Greenie serfs like we tell you to, or else the Galactic Empire’s gonna come and zap you.If that doesn’t make a Climate Change believer out of you, I don’t know what will.

Will the Aliens Be Nice? Dont Bet On It

The probability that there is intelligent life somewhere other than earth increases as we discover more and more solar systems that seem capable of sustaining life. The thought that there might be extraterrestrial intelligences (ETI) somewhere out there excites us and has led to organized efforts to contact any such beings. We have sent space probes with data about us, and we transmit signals with a structured content (like symbols expressing mathematical formulae) to what we hope will be an intergalactic audience. The search for extraterrestrial intelligence project (SETI) is obviously based on the assumption that the possible benefits of contact with ETI outweigh the possible harms. But do they?

A recent study by researchers at Penn State and NASA provides a useful outline of the various ways that encounters with ETI could be beneficial, neutral or harmful to us. The study faces up to the most chilling possibilities: ETI might “eat us, enslave us, attack us,” inadvertently infect us with horrible diseases or just decide to eliminate us for the greater good of the universe. (Regarding this last point, the report is especially concerned that ETI might be at least metaphorically green and see us a threat to the universe’s ecology.)

The report draws no conclusions about the wisdom of pursuing SETI, though it does urge the need to develop quantitative measures of possible harms and benefits. Its final sentence seems content with the idea that we will “continue the search for extraterrestrials into the future.” Especially after reading the report, I am not so content.
What is likely to happen if we make contact with ETI? Given the size of astronomical distances and assuming the speed of light as the maximum possible velocity, the most likely outcome is not real contact but merely an exchange of messages, perhaps at very long intervals. Little chance of harm there.

But there is still non-zero probability of real contact. Since we have no way of predicting with any certainty the outcome of such contact, it might seem that we have no reason to assume a bad rather than a good result. From this we might conclude that there is no objection to pursuing SETI, if only to satisfy our curiosity.

But we do know this: for the foreseeable future, contact with ETI would have to result from their coming here, which would in all likelihood mean that they far surpassed us technologically. They would be able to enslave us, hunt us as prey, torture us as objects of scientific experiments, or even exterminate us and leave no trace of our civilization. They would, in other words, be able to treat us as we treat animals — or as our technologically more advanced societies have often treated less advanced ones.

This suggests an argument against SETI that is the reverse of Pascal’s famous wager argument for believing in God. Pascal’s idea was that even a small probability of bringing about an enormous good (without risking unacceptable evil) was good reason for acting. This is a reasonable principle: even a small prospect of enormous good can swamp the prospect of more probable but much lesser goods. Pascal’s argument runs into trouble not because of this principle but because of worries about, for example, which God we ought to believe in. (There is also, as William James pointed out, the disconcerting possibility that God might be particularly ill-disposed to people who believe in him through the calculating reasoning of the wager argument.)

The swamping principle also applies to a small possibility of an enormous evil, which can provide a good reason for not acting. This would seem to be the case with ETI. Since there’s at least a small (and perhaps a not so small) probability that they will bring us catastrophic evil, why should we risk such an outcome?

One reason might be that ETI could instead bring us enormous benefits: they might even lead us to a paradise of peace, wisdom and joy. But there is no reason to think that such a paradise is more probable than a hell of slavery or extermination. And enormous gains are not worth the equal risk of horrendous loss. Who would take a bet that promised, at equal odds, either a lifetime of unalloyed happiness or a lifetime of utter misery? Better to stick with the likelihood of a normal human life, mixed with joy and sorrow.

Another possible reason is that ETI might in fact save us from horrors equal to the worst they might inflict on us. If the probability of their saving us were equal to or greater than of their destroying us, then the bet of making contact might well be worth it. Here the most plausible suggestion is that, without intervention from powerful and good ETI, we are likely to destroy ourselves through nuclear war. But there is a failure of imagination in thinking that nuclear annihilation is as bad as the worse that ETI might do to us. They might, for example, give us each thousands of years of excruciatingly painful existence as their slaves. This might not even be due to moral perversity; they might be so beyond us that they were incapable of recognizing us as objects of moral concern.

We cannot know what might happen to us from contact with ETI. But we do know that there may well be unthinkably horrible outcomes that are not likely to be offset by potential benefits. We should not take the SETI bet.

It seems that in light of things like this, especially the recent media coverage claiming that we'll be invaded and killed by aliens because of global warming, that we have a problem. It shows how the corporate controlled media and the government are hyping an outside threat of alien invasion and using that “threat” as a way to push the idea of a global government. This is the exact script of the movie Independence Day and the real blueprint of something called Project Blue Beam and you are seeing the foundation laid for it. Even Paul Krugman said back on August 14th 2011 that the government should fake an alien invasion to fix the economy. So with those recent pieces of evidence in mind let’s now pay attention to a mainstream news report put out on Easter Sunday 2012 in Australia. A member of the U.S. Air Command with special clearance of White House, spoke during an interview aired on Australian MSM, about the official plans of the U.S. military to fight a hostile alien invasion.

Ask yourself, why all the hype about an alien invasion? Then pay attention to the things they are saying are the goals and it becomes clear, WORLD GOVERNMENT. Now I’m not saying I don’t believe aliens are out there, that would be an ignorant and arrogant stance to take considering the size of the universe. If they are out there they would be so advanced that to them we would be like the monkeys in the zoo who fling poop at each other. To them the Earth is probably a neat place to visit from afar but they must be careful not to get too close too often because the natives are primitive and dangerous. I also agree that working together as humankind to explore space and the oceans would be great. I agree that no more war, death, bloodshed would be great but that is not what the people pulling the strings want. They want quite the opposite. Their goal is a one world government that has the ability, power, and means to control everything on the planet and every aspect of human life for their own twisted goals. I know this all sounds crazy but it is 100% real as can be. Do the research for yourself and you will see.

And remember what Henry Kissinger said while speaking at the Bilderberg meeting in Evian, France, May 21, 1992:

It inaugurated the Cold War, a multiple trillion dollar, decades-long bonanza for the military-industrial complex Eisenhower would later warn about. Korea, Vietnam, and dozens of other countries around the world became the battleground for an epic (if largely mythical) and profitable struggle against an enemy created by Wall Street bankers (who also empowered Hitler and the Nazis).

Following the takedown of the Soviet Union, the ruling elite manufactured the specter of Islamic terrorism. This fictional enemy has provided an effective if limited pretext for continued military adventures and mass expenditures. It has also fed the growth of a domestic police and surveillance state. However, like the Soviet “threat,” the Islamic boogeyman does not have the capacity to truly frighten the masses and stampede them into unquestioning servility. It does not have the capacity to inculcate them with the proper fear-based mentality for permanent war.

Enter the alien threat. The scheme was pushed over the Easter holiday on Australian television by Professor Paul Springer from the U.S. Air Command and Staff College. During an interview, Springer said the government and the Pentagon have plans for an alien invasion.

The idea of an alien invasion is nothing new. Ronald Reagan mentioned the farcical possibility during a speech delivered before the United Nations in 1987. “In our obsession with antagonisms of the moment, we often forget how much unites all the members of humanity. Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world,” he said, alluding to the “common bond” of world government.

Aerospace executive and space and missile defense consultant Carol Rosin claims she had a discussion with Dr. Wernher von Braun, the former top ranking SS officer who headed up the Nazi rocket program during WWII and was sent to America to oversee its space program. According to Rosin, Wernher von Braun said the global elite will use a fake alien invasion in order to consolidate power and implement world government.

The Pentagon, of course, spends a whole lot of our money preparing for infeasible invasions and crises – including the discredited theory of climate change – but before you dismiss the idea of an alien invasion as ludicrous, consider the fact a number of prominent people are pushing it, including the Keynesian economist Paul Krugman and the renowned physicist Michio Kaku (see videos below).

Not surprisingly, Kaku said we’d need a world government to fend off the threat. Krugman approached the unlikely prospect from an economic perspective, claiming in essence an alien invasion would be the greatest make-work project in human history and would help us out of the current economic downturn (also created, like the fake alien threat, by the global elite).

The man-made climate change crowd – exceedingly desperate now that their junk science theories have been disproven – are also pushing the alien invasion threat. A “scenario analysis” published by Cornell Universality states that aliens may punish us for emitting carbon into the atmosphere.

“A preemptive strike would be particularly likely in the early phases of our expansion because a civilization may become increasingly difficult to destroy as it continues to expand. Humanity may just now be entering the period in which its rapid civilisational expansion could be detected by an ETI because our expansion is changing the composition of the Earth’s atmosphere, via greenhouse gas emissions,” the report states.

“Green” aliens might object to the environmental damage humans have allegedly caused and wipe us out to save the planet. “These scenarios give us reason to limit our growth and reduce our impact on global ecosystems. It would be particularly important for us to limit our emissions of greenhouse gases, since atmospheric composition can be observed from other planets,” the Guardian reported last August, citing authors of the dubious report.

The reason for a fake alien invasion is not really important, though. What matters to the global elite is creating a super-crisis far worse than anything that could ever be produced by cave-dwelling Muslim terrorists manufactured by the CIA or posed by a super-state like the Soviet Union.

If Jim Marrs and others are correct – the United States military has an array of technologically advanced space craft and other technologies– these may be used by the elite to stage the ruse of an alien invasion and usher in world government as a savior.

A bizarre scenario played out in Australia Easter morning: while children hunted for Easter eggs and the faithful attended church Australia’s Channel Nine Today Show aired a segment on the “U.S. military making plans for an alien invasion”; the Today Show set decorated for Easter-fake bunny ears on the Today logo, giant colored eggs in the background-video posted below.

Channel Nine anchor: “Now an alien invasion, could it really happen? The U.S. military is making plans just in case.”

Is the U.S. military making plans for an alien invasion?

Like Slate, we thought the U.S. military doesn’t plan for an alien invasion. The answer depends on the answers given by the guest on the Today Show segment: Professor Paul Springer from the U.S. Air Command and Staff College–the USAF Air University–who had to get special government clearance to appear on the show.

The mission of the USAF Air University:

“Prepare Field-Grade Officers to develop, employ, and command air, space and cyberspace power in joint, multinational and inter-agency operations.”

Anchor: “What are plans for contact with extraterrestrials? Will they come in peace, or war? And what can humanity do in the face of alien invasion?”

Anchor: “Yes, it is best to be prepared for anything and Professor Paul Spring from the U.S. Air Command and Staff College would advise the military in the event of an invasion. He had to get special government clearance to talk to us and I spoke to him earlier.”

Anchor: “What do you think would be the alien plan? What would they do first?”

Springer: “That really depends on why they are here in the first place. If they are here for the extraction of a specific resource, for example, they might just want to eliminate any resistance that might block them from their objective. If, on the other hand, their goal was actual occupation and conquest, then they would probably have to prioritize anything they perceive as a threat to their own dominance. So, they would probably start by wiping out as many communications networks as possible and eliminating as many weapons that might represent some form of threat either to them, or to the resources they are trying to extract. So they might very well want to counter every nuclear weapon, not because it represented a threat to them, but because it might destroy whatever they’re here to collect.”

Also mentioned during the interview, would world governments ‘unite’ against an alien threat.

Anchor: “Wouldn’t it be a strange situation if humanity had to band together, fighting alongside Russia, or I guess, the Taliban?”

Springer: “It would, but keep in mind that many of the greatest civilizations in human history have been formed, basically, to counter a common enemy. When you look at the great world powers of the globe today, you find a lot of them formed because of the fear of a common enemy.”

If we were conspiracy theorists we’d theorize the interview more than hinted at a New World Order formed by a common enemy, an alien invasion. We’d take it a step further and wonder if the segment was related to a ‘False Flag alien invasion’?

The UN and Other Governances are Preparing for an Alien Invasion

Could disclosure be imminent?

Within the United Nations is a governing body that has been preparing for possible contact with an extra-terrestrial race.

The UN’s Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (CPUOS) was created in 1959. Their purpose is to facilitate matters of international concern within outer space, as well as deal with any legal issues that may arise from space exploration.

Professor John Zarnecki of the Open University and Dr. Martin Dominik of the University of St. Andrews say that societal uprisings could be avoided if there is global cooperation in forming an international political body to oversee the communications between humans and aliens. They both agree that the UN’s CPUOS will be that facilitator.

In 2010, the UN’s director for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Mazlan Othman, said that “statistically, extraterrestrial life is a possibility.”

Othman referenced that scientists are finding more and more Earth like planets in “habitable zones” that most likely facilitate life. She believes that the world must “come together to lay out a plan” for dealing with discovery of alien life. Othman also asserts that the UN should be the sole direct contact and governing body in charge if and when the aliens arrive on Earth. As the appointed international body on Earth, the UN would formulate laws and guidelines on how to expedite peace with the aliens

Astronomers have located a new planet twenty-two light years away, in the “habitable zone” that could sustain life.

The planet has been named Gilese 667Cc. It is orbiting a red dwarf star. Scientists are sure it is made of rock and not typical gas as would normally by orbiting a red dwarf.

The European Southern Observatory is double checking their data about Gilese. Scientists from the University of Göttingen and the University of California surmise that Gilese receives 10% less light from its star than Earth from our Sun.

Steven Vogt, an astronomer from the University of California, said: “It's the Holy Grail of exo-planet research to find a planet orbiting around a star at the right distance so it's not too close where it would lose all its water and not too far where it would freeze. It's right there in the habitable zone – there's no question or discussion about it. It is not on the edge. It is right in there.”

Because the light emitted from the red dwarf is infrared, Gilese would be as energized as Earth and the possibility of water on the planet is great. The researchers also suppose that surface temperatures could be comparable to Earth’s.

Astronomers are quite excited about Gilese.

Guillem Anglada-Escudé, of University Göttingen, Germany, said:

With the advent of new generation of instruments, researchers will be able to survey many dwarf stars for similar planets and eventually look for spectroscopic signatures of life in one of these worlds.

While UNOOSA denies that Othman is the official ambassador for Earth in future alien contact, the Royal Society published papers of a meeting that showed Othman participating in an expert panel discussion about alien life, contact, and even possible contamination here on Earth from extra-terrestrials.

Scientists for the Royal Society published papers referencing all aspects of alien existence, surmising that this issue must be addressed as a serious possibility within scientific and governmental circles.

“Will a suitable process based on expert advice from proper and responsible scientists arise at all, or will interests of power and opportunism more probably set the scene?” asked Zarnecki.

In his paper, “ The detection of extra-terrestrial life and the consequences for science and society ”, Zarnecki stresses humanity “needs to be prepared for the consequences” of alien invasions.

Simon Conway Morris, a professor of evolutionary palaeobiology at Cambridge University, asserts that aliens would be hostile and preparations should be focused on this probability. Morris clarifies that alien life would have “similar biological molecules” to humans and extra-terrestrials may have our “tendencies toward violence and exploitation”.

Ted Peters, professor of systematic theology at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in California supposes that alien contact would drastically affect the world’s religions, possibly creating a collapse of “conventional wisdom”.

Peters ask's:

1. Will confirmation of extra-terrestrial intelligence (ETI) cause terrestrial religion to collapse?
2. What is the scope of God’s creation?
3. What can we expect regarding the moral character of ETI?
4. Is one earthly incarnation in Jesus Christ enough for the entire cosmos, or should we expect multiple incarnations on multiple planets?
5. Will contact with more advanced ETI diminish human dignity?

He goes on say that the Bible supports aliens as part of God’s creation and “will be seen as the gift of a loving and gracious God”.

Even the US government is preparing for alien contact . . . or invasion.

Nobel laureate economist Paul Krugman repeated his assertion this week that the United States could benefit economically if the government began pouring money into anti-ET defense in preparation for a possible alien invasion of Earth.

Even a faked war of the worlds scare might help, he suggested.

The Huffington Post reached out to some experts who share an intense interest in the idea that earthlings are not the only intelligent game in town -- or space.
We asked, If there were an ET threat and if the U.S. government were to suddenly rechannel its budgets into preparing an anti-alien defense, would that ultimately save our economy? Their responses varied, ranging from skepticism to enthusiasm.

"I assume the alien attack is a euphemism designed to gain public support for that spending effort. Therefore, my position would be that the alien invasion he proposes to prepare for is with the mythical aliens. Americans doubt Mitt Romney’s ability to deal with an alien invasion.

Most U.S. citizens believe President Barack Obama has what it takes to protect us from aliens: the little green ones, that is.

According to the poll, 65 percent believe Obama could handle an alien invasion.

“We wanted the pulse on people’s opinions,” said Brad Dancer, senior vice president of research and digital media for National Geographic, who conducted the survey for the new series “Chasing UFOs.” “We wanted to get a sense of how Americans view UFOs, what people believe and how mainstream pop culture may or may not be playing into their opinions on it.”

The survey also revealed that more than 80 million Americans believe aliens exist. Many of those think the government has covered up past invasions.

In May, Jaden Smith, the son of actor Will Smith, asked the President about the existence of aliens during a visit to the White House.

“OK. I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of extraterrestrials,” answered the President.

Perhaps it is the calm demeanor President Barack Obama always seems to present to the public, regardless of whether or not he’s talking basketball, the latest piece of legislation, or how he recently ordered an attack on a terrorist. That confident self-assuredness appears to make most Americans think he would be the most capable leader in the event that aliens invaded the Earth. Better than Mitt Romney.

According to a survey commissioned by the National Geographic Channel in anticipation of their new investigative reality show, “Chasing UFOs,” some 65 percent of the survey respondents said, when given the choice between President Obama and Mitt Romney, the incumbent president would be better suited to respond to an alien threat.

The poll, according to Life’s Little Mysteries, also found that 36 percent of Americans (80 million people) believe UFOs are real. Ten percent said they had actually seen a UFO.

As for those who believe that aliens had actually visited Earth, 36 percent responded that they thought they had. Seventeen percent said they did not believe there had been any visitations and a nearly half, 48 percent, were unsure.

Still, 77 percent believed there were signs or indications that aliens might have visited the Earth, even if they had yet to determine whether or not that they actually had. And still more, 79 percent, were certain that the government was keeping secrets about UFOs from the people.

Disturbingly, 55 percent of those surveyed believed that the so-called “Men in Black” actually existed and threatened those who admitted to spotting UFOs.

The man-made climate change alarmists would have us believe that while CO2 is plant food it has been shown in experimental studies that plants are not responding to CO2 fertilization.

In a new paper produced by Steven Higgins, lead author from the Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre and Goethe – University, maintains that even though plants use CO2 to live, and turn it into O2 which animals use to live, global warming computer models tell a different tale.

The tropical forests along the Amazon jungle, which are the “lungs of the planet”, are competing with grasslands for CO2. In the Savannahs, according to experimental computer models, there is a battle taking place.

Higgins explains: “However, most of these studies were conducted in northern ecosystems or on commercially important species.

In fact, only one experimental study has investigated how savanna plants will respond to changing CO2 concentrations and this study showed that savanna trees were essentially CO2-starved under pre-industrial CO2 concentrations, and that their growth really starts taking off at the CO2 concentrations we are currently experiencing.“

Trees growing in the Savannah are fighting for CO2 from the atmosphere. As fossil fuels are burned up, the CO2 is released into the air, which is good for the trees, bad for the grass.

And even worse, as we cut down trees in these flourishing forests, all those CO2 is released into the atmosphere and becomes a threat to the biosphere.

One way the globalists want to deal with CO2 is hydraulic fracturing, or fracking.

In a propaganda report, the National Research Council admits that while fracking causes earthquakes, it is still a “low risk” way of sequestering CO2 underground. They blame carbon capture for “inducing seismic events”, although there is insufficient scientific data to make such a claim.

The UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), working with the Global Warming Policy Foundation(GWF) endorse fracking as a safe low-impact environmentally friendly way of dealing with CO2.

The IPCC is responsible for the use of fracking as a pollution control to move away from coal-based electrical power. Fracking, a scheme concocted by the UN’s IPCC as their replacement of coal usage and reduction of CO2 that is causing undeniable environmental damage, cancer risks to public health and detrimental seismic activity.

The myth of man-made CO2 as a direct cause of climate change was purveyed by Professor Michael Mann, who is now hiding behind the globalist academia front Penn State University.

Mann’s hockey stick graph was a complete fabrication designed to further the UN movement toward blaming the effects on our biosphere on man to move the world’s population into a global carbon taxing scheme.

Just last month Fritz Fritz Vahrenholt, a professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hamburg since 2009, spoke at the 3rd Global Warming Policy Foundation Annual Lecture at the Royal Society in London where he voiced that there was an obvious lack of scientific data to support the IPCC’s assertions.

Vahrenholt states that: “Real, hard data from ice cores, dripstones, tree rings and ocean or lake sediment cores reveal significant temperature changes of more than 1°C, with warm and cold phases alternating in a 1,000-year cycle.

These include the Minoan Warm Period 3,000 years ago and the Roman Warm Period 2,000 years ago. During the Medieval Warm Phase around 1,000 years ago, Greenland was colonized and grapes for wine grew in England. The Little Ice Age lasted from the 15th to the 19th century. All these fluctuations occurred before man-made CO2.”

The late Gerard Bond, marine geologist and professor from Columbia University, analyzed climate reconstructions of the North American deep-sea sediment cores, found that “the millennial-scale climate cycles ran largely parallel to solar cycles, including the Eddy Cycle which is – guess what – 1,000 years long.”

Bond surmised through decades of research that variations in solar activity – the appearance of sunspots and changes in the emission of solar radiation – were directly causing palatable effects on the Earth’s global temperature. The heating and cooling of the Earth coincided with the activity of the sun.

The sun determines the Earth’s temperature, as proven from real-world observations over the past 10,000 years. With the introduction of man-made carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere beginning in the 1850’s, the CO2 level has only risen 11 percent; which is nearly negligible.

Empirical data has shown that pre-industrial carbon emissions were dependent on solar activity. This global warming was estimated by scientists as 1 degree Celsius. As far as the IPCC is concerned, this statistic could, and has, been manipulated to justify their agenda.

However the account of the solar magnetic fields doubling over the last 100 years was completely ignored because it disavowed their scheme to blame carbon dioxide levels on human influences.

Solar activity, CO2 levels and Earth’s surface temperature are interlaced factors defining climate parameters.

As modern man has been using fossil fuels which disburse carbon dioxide, it made perfect sense for the IPCC to turn this obvious fact into an attack on man through fear-mongering and propaganda while suppressing natural processes.

The infamous computer models used by the IPCC to justify their claims that CO2 levels are a direct causation of anthropogenic impact and regard solar influence as negligible. The IPCC inserts an “unknown amplifying mechanism” to explain away observed solar activity and its effect on the Earth’s overall temperature.

CO2 is not the concern of the global Elite through their various environmental fronts, like the IPCC or the numerous propaganda studies they publish.

However, the myth of man-made carbon release has become such a big seller that they are continuing to run with it. Alarmists are scaring the public, while globalists call for worldwide carbon taxing to keep the CO2 at bay.

An entire chapter of a new firefighter emergency response manual covers what to do in the event of an attack by unidentified flying objects and aliens from another planet.
Taking the possibility of alien attack very seriously, chapter 13 of FEMA's "Fire Officer's Guide To Disaster Control," titled "Enemy Attack And UFO Potential," outlines what first responders may encounter in the event Earth's first contact is of the unfriendly kind.

A chat with Al Gore on carbon taxes, natural gas, and the ‘morally wrong’ Keystone pipeline

On Nov. 14-15, the Climate Reality Project held its second annual “24 Hours of Reality” marathon, spending an entire day and night live-streaming events and panels around the globe to highlight various aspects of the climate crisis. (This year’s theme was “dirty weather.”) More than 100 people — elected leaders, scientists, business people, and activists — appeared on panels and millions tuned in to watch.

I caught up with Climate Reality founder Al Gore around hour 18 of his all-nighter and asked him about current U.S. climate politics, carbon taxes, and natural gas.

Q. Did you see Obama’s press conference the other day?

A. I heard the excerpts on climate, and [laughs] … oh …

Q. Go ahead!

A. No, I’m not going to go ahead! We have conflicting interests here! [laughs]
Well, I think it’s too early to put a definitive interpretation on where he left it with that comment. I was genuinely encouraged that he said, in the first half of his answer, that he was going to conduct a wide-ranging conversation with scientists, engineers, etc. Many urged him to do it in the first term and I’m glad that he’s pledging to do that now. That could take on a life of its own and have an impact how he thinks about it. And … as I say, I really do believe it’s premature to put a definitive interpretation on what it means about his intentions.

Q. Did you hear [White House press secretary] Jay Carney this morning?

A. No, God help us, what’d he say?

Q. He said, “We would never propose a carbon tax, and have no intention of proposing one.”

A. I don’t think that comes as a big surprise to anyone. Those of us that hold out some hope that we will find a way to get a price on carbon, and know there are multiple ways to do it, have felt that the convergence of the fiscal cliff and the climate cliff could produce some surprising results. And there have been some private comments by some Republicans to that effect. But certainly that’s something you wouldn’t wanna bet money on in Vegas.

Q. What do you think of this idea of a revenue-neutral carbon tax?

A. I have proposed a revenue-neutral carbon tax for a long time, 30 years. I proposed it in my first book, Earth in the Balance.

I supported cap-and-trade because a lot of folks felt that it offered the opportunity for bipartisan consensus. And by the way, it may yet gain altitude globally — China, as you know, is implementing it in five provinces and two cities. They have indicated that they intend to use these pilots as a model for the nationwide program. Many are skeptical, but they often do follow through with what they say they’re going to do. And [cap-and-trade] just started in California yesterday. Australia is now linking theirs to the E.U. system. South Korea’s moving, British Columbia, Quebec — there are a lot of parallel developments that could converge, particularly if China does follow through. It’s premature to write [cap-and-trade] off, even thought it’s has been demonized and so many people are afraid to talk about it.

But from the very beginning, I preferred a carbon tax. (And by the way, I’d be in favor of both; I don’t think they’re inconsistent at all.) And yet, the political environment in the U.S. has not changed to the point where it’s something you’d wanna bet on. But look, we’ve got to solve this. It’s an irresistible force meeting an immovable object, and something’s gotta give. I have enough faith in humanity to believe, against a lot of evidence, that we’re going to solve this.

Q. Does this idea of a carbon/income tax swap make you nervous? The income tax is one of the only places we have progressivity in the U.S. tax code.

A. I have not proposed doing it on the income tax, I have proposed doing it on the payroll tax. I am also friendly to the notion of a rebate scheme, though I doubt they’ll do that. It needs to be progressive — the rising inequality in the country is too serious to run the risk of worsening that.

Q. Do you worry that you getting out in front of this might brand it in a certain way —

A. Well, they come after anybody who speaks up in favor of doing something on climate. It’s not going to surprise any of them that I’m in favor of it. I’ve said it on practically a daily basis for years and years.

Q. One thing that pops up every time you enter this debate is this notion that you’ve made a bunch of money off your green investments. I remember you saying to Congress that you’ve donated that money to your climate group.

A. I have. The question was about Kleiner Perkins [a venture-capital firm in which Gore is an investment partner]. I have given, and do give, every year, 100 percent of my salary and 100 percent of distributions from Kleiner Perkins to the Climate Reality Project. There is absolutely no income of any sort from Kleiner Perkins that I do not give completely and totally to the Climate Reality Project.

Q. The political climate in the U.S. seems stuck [on the climate issue]. What’s your take on how it’s developing in other countries?

A. First of all, I don’t agree that it is stuck in the U.S. I really don’t. I think there is a great deal of movement beneath the surface. I run into people all the time who are former deniers, former opponents of doing anything on climate who are saying, “Look, this is just getting too weird. It’s clear that this is going on, we’ve got to do something.” Now, we’re not at the tipping point, but we’re much closer than we have been.

I’ve said this before and I really do believe it’s true: Changes like this don’t occur in a linear way.

The potential for change builds up, unmanifested, until it reaches a critical mass. You don’t always see it coming. There are plenty of examples of that. I believe we’re seeing just that kind of movement just beneath the surface here in the U.S.

States are moving. Local governments are moving. Business is moving thanks to the happy discovery by so many businesses that initiated sustainability changes for branding reasons that it makes them money. It’s not a cost, but a benefit. By now, that’s pretty widely known in the business community. News Corp, for goodness sakes, is CO2 neutral. They don’t brag about it.

They do it because it saves them money.

I’m not saying we’re right on the tipping point. I know better than that. But neither do I think it’s accurate to say that we’re stuck in neutral. I don’t think we are.

But to get to your real question, I think that what happened in Australia was hugely significant.

What’s going on in China is quite significant. The fact that the E.U. is hanging tough and some member states are actually torquing up their commitment is very significant. I think Mexico is significant; we’ll see what [Mexican President-elect Enrique] Peña Nieto does when he takes over in a couple of weeks, but they’ve made a commitment for 75 percent reduction and they’ve got a broad societal consensus. I think what Hawaii is doing is enormously significant. You know, a lot of countries around the world are looking at their hold cards, they’re looking at the damage, and it is now translating into a set of commitments that are meaningful and will continue.

Q. The federal level is blocked up, but there’s this movement underneath the surface. What’s the right way to take advantage of that movement?

A. The sooner we can increase the scale of renewable installations, the steeper the cost down-curve is going to be. We’ve kind of got a Moore’s Law Jr. underway on [solar] PV. Wind is not as steep as PV. Efficiency is probably steeper than both, or comparable to PV. So there are a lot of trends moving in the right direction. Any policies that accelerate the movement to scale will help.
In many areas, renewables, particularly solar and wind, are competitive. Not everywhere by a long shot, but in a growing number of areas. That in itself drives a certain tipping point, because when utilities are confronted with a better bargain, even with all the regulatory morass, they do make changes. We’ve seen 166 coal plants close. Yes, [natural] gas is a big part of it, but so is the impact of renewables on the margin. And that margin’s getting wider and wider all the time.

Q. What’s your take on the natural gas revolution that’s happening?

A. I’m concerned about methane leakage — the fact that it’s a valuable commodity and they have an incentive to capture it hasn’t stopped the leakage. Particularly in the fracking process, when they pull the fluids out, there’s just a huge outgassing. There are still leaks throughout the production and distribution chain, and the magnitude may well be sufficient to outweigh any CO2 advantage that you would otherwise gain.

The fact that [then-Vice President Dick] Cheney exempted [fracking] from [the Safe Drinking Water Act] really put the whole industry in such a privileged position, it disadvantages the advocates of the public interest, which was the intention. But it does mean that there are a lot of legitimate questions that need to be run to ground, no pun intended.

If you assume for the moment that those questions can be answered, then I think it’s responsible — only in that circumstance — to view gas as a short- to medium-term bridge fuel, substituting for coal, to buy some time for getting to scale and riding the cost down-curve on renewables.

I do worry that we could make such a legacy investment in gas infrastructure that the nation’s appetite for making a second conversion would be severely diminished. But I weigh that against the inherent market power of the cost down-curve for solar and wind reaching the point where utilities — and homeowners, and business owners — simply can’t say no to it, even if we’re in the middle of the bridge substitution strategy.

Q. Right now the activist community is taking on two big fights — one is against the Keystone pipeline, the other against coal export terminals in the Northwest. Where do you stand on those? Is it possible to keep some of the coal in the ground?

A. I know the realpolitik and business perspective is to say, “It’s gonna come out no matter what,” but I don’t buy that. We have a planetary emergency. I know it drives some people nuts when I say that, but dammit, that’s what we face. We have to take that reality on board.

I’m going to support [Washington] governor-elect Jay Inslee. He is my close friend and I think he is going to handle this extremely well. The folks around the Northwest ports have their own reasons for being concerned about what’s planned. I’m going to support those who are skeptical about this giant export strategy of coal.

And let me answer the first part of that question — you’re probably not in as much suspense about that one. I am strongly opposed to that tar-sands pipeline. I think it’s crazy. Again, you have the realpolitik/business logic, but I just think it is morally wrong for us to open a brand new source of even dirtier carbon-based energy when we are desperately trying to bend down the curves.

I understand why a lot of people think it’s unrealistic in the extreme for one of these things to be slowed down or stopped. But you know, if you take that position, then you are inherently saying, “Well, it’s not that unrealistic to destroy the future of human civilization.”
