Okla. immigration ruling could affect Arizona law

The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday upheld much of an injunction against Oklahoma's anti-illegal immigrant law, ruling that business groups had legal standing to challenge it.

Obama's budget curbs border programs

Man charged with posing as a federal marshal to deport relative

Wearing a fake badge and a shirt imprinted with "U.S. Federal Agent," Gregory Denny, 37, turned up at the Hemet home of Craig Hibbard, a distant cousin, on Jan. 15, said Lt. Duane Wisehart of the Hemet Police Department.

An illegal sentenced to life plus 20 to 40 years for rape of 5-year-old

On Tuesday, Lackawanna County Judge Michael Barrasse referred to Mr. Montoya's letter before handing down a life sentence, plus 20 to 40 years more.

Criminal alien sentenced for molestation of 7-year-old boy

Gutierrez-Ortiz to 15 years to life, after the Mexican national, through the help of an interpreter, pleaded guilty to first-degree felony attempted sodomy on a child. The assault occurred last year in Salt Lake County, UT.
