US Airways, Chase Bank Need Workers in Tempe

TEMPE, Ariz. - Close to 300 jobs are now available in Tempe, as two companies announce they are hiring.
US Airways has 140 open positions at their headquarters for everything from accountants to mechanics.
Chase Bank is also hiring up to 150 fulltime workers for its Tempe operations center.
Chase is holding a job fair on Thursday at the Chase Tower in downtown Phoenix.

McDonalds is also holding a one day hiring event next week all across Arizona! Looks like SB1070 is working to create jobs!

I hope unemployed Americans will be able to obtain the skills for the higher level jobs, such as with US Airways and Chase. McDonalds is a useless industry, IMO, and if we ever return to a high employment level (not too likely) it would be one company clamoring for higher immigration levels.

Valley Companies Look to Hire New Employees

PHOENIX - On this Labor Day, we have news about job openings. We start with close to 300 jobs available in Tempe.
U.S. Airways' headquarters is in Tempe and they have 140 open positions - everything from accountants to mechanics.
Chase Bank is also hiring up to 150 full time and part time workers for its Tempe Operations Center. On September 9, there will be a job fair in downtown Phoenix from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Applicants will have the opportunity to interact directly with the management team.
Schnepf Farms is looking for part time and full time workers. The farm is hiring cooks, waitresses, cashiers and more for the new Fresh From the Farm country restaurant. The jobs are 40 hours a week, from September through May. The restaurant will be closed June through August. There are also seasonal job opportunities for the farm's annual Pumpkin and Chili Party. The farm is also hiring employees for the farm's bakery and country store.
Seasons 52, a new restaurant under construction at the Biltmore Shopping Center near 24th Street and Camelback will hold a job fair on September 13. They're looking to hire 100 people for cooks, waitstaff, hostesses and management.
McDonald's is also preparing to add between 800 and 1,000 part time workers to its staff. Most locations will hold job fairs on September 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The greater issue here is the fact that McD's can certainly be seen as a benchmark in respect to SB1070, given the high number of illegals they employed. When was the last time McD's had a state wide recruting event, in the state nonetheless that just implemented SB1070!

A job at McDonald's can lead to the Manager of the restaurant job.
It can also lead to owning a McDonald's franchise.
The best thing McDonald's does is teach young people that they can NOT use their phone and text at work.
You have to do that when you are off the clock.NO AMNESTY
