Thread: Just back from "anti-hate" rally.....

It took awhile to get the real story. My conclusion is that the county sherifff is a real bozo.

This incident: teenagers through rocks at and cussed with racial epithets older Latino men who had driven the teens' girlfriends away, and bought more beer.
Teens everywhere, IMHO, are maturing a lot faster so this looks like passionate jealousy. Oldest teen is now charged with assault and is 18 yrs. old. PortlandIndymedia, reported 20-30 attackers. Real story is far less. The two latinos went to the hospital but were shortly released.

County Sheriff got good press coverage, though, as one of several speakers. Hate Crimes professor from local university got in some remarks. Local news covered it.

So does slaughtering 33 students in Virginia constitute a hate crime in America?

This doesn't have anything to do with illegal immigration so it belongs in Other Topics.

It also appears that this is not considred a hate crime.

This looks like a really intersting story.
