    Anybody else having this problem?

    Computer related.......

I've been going through keyboards and mouses like water. ANYTHING happens and bam the keyboard and mouse are out. I have the surge protectors and all the safety things. But if anything happens......they are gone. Is this a result of cheap goods or is it something else? I have cordless and my husband has corded. I'm on the net......he isn't. Trying to find a reason for this. 6 mos. at the most and it's time for yet another keyboard and mouse.

Not me. We have wireless routers, and I'm on the remote. I lose my connection frequently, but never my mouse or keyboard. Hang in there!

I used to go through a lot of equipment but then I learned that rebooting my computer did not entail using a steel-toed work boot.

    Crazybird,

You need to get rid of that dell and get a real computer.

There is an almost unknown computer out there that will give you years of perfect service without microsloth windows or MS-DOS.

Nobody ever heard of it. The company that makes em keeps a low profile, they never advertise, there are only a few dozen users in the world (I happen to be one of the lucky few).

Users of this computer are scorned and ridiculed by IBM-PC (and clone) users. PC users demand that it's manufacturer go out of business.

It's extremely hard to find a dealer for these computers, 'cause they keep a low profile.

This unknown computer that nobody ever heard of...

You could be using them too much. I only buy business call machines. I spend more money, but if something breaks, it is replaced fast. Mine also lasts longer than the average computer.
