The sheer gall of Nancy Pelosi is breathtaking. Check this out!

Pelosi is not discussing new tax cuts. She is talking about the possibility of extending parts of the Bush tax cuts which she is trying to rename the 'Obama middle class tax cut.'

If this is passed your tax rates will not drop, they will remain the same.

If it is not passed, your tax rates will rise.

This is just beltway logic. After all, for decades a "cut" in funding for a program was defined as not getting as big an "increase" as they wanted. so therefore, by not raising taxes they are cutting them.
