Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) accused President Obama of purposefully trying to kill American energy in a story published in the conservative magazine Human Events on Monday.

From day one, Obama made clear his desire to destroy any industry that produces fossil fuels. Anyone remember his comments when he took office about killing the coal industry??

Yes indeed. I also remember him gleefully stating he could not wait until gas reached $5-$6 per gallon, so that people would buy hybrid cars.

The man is either utterly clueless or truly heartless and evil. He thinks people will be able to pull thousands of $$$ out of their butts to buy hybrid cars??? If we can barely afford $3-4 per gallon now, where does he think we'll get the $$$ for 25k+ hybrid cars?!?!

Between this and Moochelle's "organic" farmers marketing (aka expensive) with their arugula, who can afford to eat?

I can't wait to give him a shellacking in '12!
