End-of-summer jobs are popping up across the Valley and state

PHOENIX - Your chances of finding a job are going up according to Indeed.com. Its July Industry Employment Trends report shows a rise in year-over-year job posts in 11 of 12 industries.

Transportation and manufacturing, which are often viewed as early indicators of economic improvement, enjoyed the strongest job-posting gains.

Indeed.com and SimplyHired.com posted listings of the top companies hiring in the Valley right now. Here are just 10 of them:

Banner Desert Medical Center had a high demand for registered nurses in a variety of areas which included oncology, cath lab, neuro ICU, behavioral health and OR. The positions were offered in Mesa, Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert and Scottsdale.

JPMorgan Chase had a large number of jobs open in the Phoenix area. They included tellers, accounting associates and personal bankers. The locations were spread across the Valley including Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Prescott, Glendale, Goodyear, Apache Junction and Peoria.

Starwood Hotels
was looking for employees who could provide Valley hospitality as seasonal business starts to pick up in the fall. The jobs were scattered throughout several different areas including security officers, servers, front desk agents, bartenders and a cook. The positions were offered in Scottsdale, Phoenix and Chandler.

Best Buy stores had a demand for a variety of position including sales supervisors, sales associates, customer service specialists, delivery drivers and other supervisors. Phoenix, Glendale and Mesa were some of the locations wanting applications.

Home Depot stores wanted people to apply for positions at the home improvement store. The company has numerous jobs throughout central Arizona including lot associates, cashiers, sales, associates and outside sales consultants. Phoenix, Tempe, Casa Grande, Cottonwood, Chandler, Surprise, Prescott, Mesa, Gilbert and Scottsdale were some of the locations needing applications.

As schools went back in session, Staples stores in Phoenix had a demand for people to fill several jobs including associates, technicians, cashiers and customer service.

GoDaddy was advertising for dozens of new open positions. They included data center supervisor, data center technician, engineers, Linux Systems administrator, project manager and developer. Phoenix, Tempe, Gilbert and Scottsdale were some of the locations where the jobs were offered.

Pet lovers were needed at PETCO stores. A wide range of jobs were available including dog trainers, sales associates, team leaders, pet stylists and grooming assistants. Management positions were also offered. Candidates could apply at numerous stores including Phoenix, Glendale, Gilbert, Mesa, Fountain Hills, Chandler, Avondale, Scottsdale, Goodyear, Queen Creek and Peoria.

Taco Bell restaurants needed to hire dozens of employees for several positions which included assistant managers and shift leaders. The positions were at locations in Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, Prescott, Surprise, Goodyear, Avondale, Tempe, Cave Creek, Camp Verde, Wickenburg, Queen Creek and Apache Junction.

Pizza Hut restaurants listed dozens of new jobs including general managers, shift managers, team members, delivery drivers and servers. The website listed salary estimates from $20,000+ to $80,000. Locations were scattered and included Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, Surprise, Peoria, Buckeye, Cave Creek, Goodyear, Avondale, Fountain Hills, Tolleson and Sun City.
