800 pounds of marijuana seized Friday at stash house

Investigators with the West Texas HIDTA Stash House Unit seized more than 800 pounds of marijuana Friday night from an Upper Valley stash house.
At about 5:15 p.m. Friday, officers found 611 bundles of marijuana weighing about 828 pounds, and 77 grams of cocaine, inside a home in the 5800 block of Batiste.

Police estimated the street value of the marijuana at $657,430, and the cocaine's street value at $12,326. No arrests were made during the bust.

An investigation continues. Anyone who suspects a stash house in their neighborhood is asked to call the stash house Unit at 629-8600, or Crime Stoppers at 566-8477.
