HC law question...
So, in our house today, we watched as ignorant and deaf legislators, bent on forcing us to buy insurance, most of us will not be able to afford.
A question entered my mind. How would this law, if passed and implemented, affect those who live in communities who do not particiapte in our society, or affiliate themselves with our government? What about the Amish and others? Would they be forced to participate? Would they be eventually jailed if they refused to do so?
Now really, the other question is would we all be jailed if we refused to participate in this? What if millions of Americans (say with the coordinated efforts of the Tea Party movement) protested by refusing to participate? How would the federal government deal with millions who refuse an un-Constitutional law? Would they jail us all? Would they try to round us up as "dissidents"?

I read somewhere but can't find a link, that the Amish have been exempted. My concern is that illegals have been exempted from the penalties, so they can continue to show up at the emergency room without insurance.

What makes them exempt?
Is it because of a lack of participation with a social security card/number? If this is so, then why not those who are claiming Sovereign Citizenship? They go after people, regularly, who claim sovereign citizenship, but not after the Amish.
So, if the average person chooses to exempt themselves from this, will the government go after them? How could it hold up in court if some are exempt, but others not? Will they round up dissenters?"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. So really, the problem the libs say they are trying to fix with forcing the rest of us to buy something we might not be able to afford, and of course we all know forced purchase is un-Constitutional, will still exist...
We will still have millions of people uninsured who will be weighing the system down. Time to deport, especially now."In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned.
