    Ground Zero Mosk

Yes, the word doesn't deserver the 'que', so let's get the spelling right.

After this mosk is built, how much you wanna bet that no one except muslims will be allowed in. Who's going to maintain the building (if you want to call it that)? Who's going to take care of the landscape and so forth? Will death by stoning or better yet, sharia law ba allowed on the premises? Nobody except Muslims will be allowed on the property..and then you can flush Obama's Constitutional concern for all people to be treated equal down the toilet (you can do that anyway). This building is a blatant mark of victory by the Muslims which won approval by traitors to our country. Like someone once said here, it's like a dog marking its territory. How barbaric is that?

Would this have been acceptable 50 yrs. ago?

This is not just about Ground Zero. Ground Zero is the emotional, and thus controllable side of the debate. This represents the keys to the country. Anywhere but here?

    Thanks infidels!

    Thanks Newmexican.

what our concepts of freedom and tolerance mean to us, and where the line is between being tolerant and being weak or clueless.
    and,

Some have presented their conclusions on the matter without taking us through the whole argument, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t thought it through.

Building a mosque so close to the hallowed ground of Ground Zero is insensitive, insulting, arrogant and provocative. It is insensitive because the Muslims do not care about the victims of "9/11/01" and their families and friends. It is insulting because it is like adding salt to an open wound. It is arrogant because the Muslim community believes that by exploiting our legal system (i.e., the constitution)
it can get away with a lot of things including building this mosque. It is provocative because the site for this mosque was purposely chosen knowing that the nation is still grieving. The miscalculation was that the anger beneath the grief was ignored.

Islam is not a simple belief system. Islam is a religion as well as a political system. The two are inextricably intertwined. That is why the Koran and Sharia law always go together. Those who are familiar with Sharia law know that Islam and democracy are not compatible. Islam is and will always be a THEOCRACY. Keep that in mind. Which brings us to this ultimate question: Can Muslims be good Americans?

    No.

    Well stated ShockedinCalifornia. Thank You.

The next question is why we as a nation have accepted this Trojan horse? (rhetorical)

Some may find this quote offensive. If they do, would it be due to PC training?

"The time will therefore come when one hundred and fifty millions of men will be living in North America, equal in condition, the progeny of one race, owing their orgin to the same cause, and preserving the same civilization, the same language, the same religion, the same habits, the same manners, and imbued with the same opinions, propagated under the same forms. The rest is uncertain, but this is certain: and it is a fact new to the world - a fact fraught with such portentous consequences as to baffle the efforts even of the imagination." This is a passage from a book written by Woodrow Wilson around 1921?

    On the Constitution,

"It has served its purpose beneficently, not because it was written, but because it has proved itself accordant in every essential part with tried principles of government - principles tested by the race for whose use it was intended, and therefore already embedded in their lives and practices. Its strength will be found, upon analysis, to lie in its definiteness and in its power to restrain rather than in any unusual excellence of its energetic parts. For the right operation of these it has to depend, like other constitutions, upon the virtue and discretion of the people and their ministers."

    Some more from Woodrow.

"The 'may-nots' and the 'shall-nots' of our constitutions, (constitutions is plural as he is comparing the English and our own) consequently, give them their distinctive form and character. The strength which preserves the system is the strength of self-restraint.

And yet here again it must be understood that mere definiteness of legal provision has no saving efficacy of its own. These distinct lines run between power and power will not of their own virtue maintain themselves. It is not in having such a constitution but in obeying it that our advantage lies. The vitality of such provisions consists wholly in the fact that they recieve our acquiescence. They rest upon the legal conscience, upon what Mr. Grote would have called the ' constitutional morality,' of our race."

    Woodrow on the British constitution,

"The arrangements of the British constitution have, for all their theoretical instability, a very firm and definite standing in the political habit of Englishmen: and the greatest of those arrangements can be done away with only by the extraordinary force of conscious revolution."

How are the Brits doing with their Islam brothers? Will the Islam brothers adopt the "political habit" of the Englishman?

A host on KFI radio in LA said the Ground Zero mosque will be part of the "Jihad Tour". Apparently there are other similar mosques in Europe that jihadists vist as part of a tour celbrating their gains over other religions.
