Cable News Program Rankings: FNC Nabs Top 13

By Kevin Allocca on Feb 02, 2010 06:20 PM

In January, Fox News had the top 13 cable news programs in both total viewers and the demo starting with Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck in the three spots. It's the first time in 5 years they've had the top 13 in the A25-54 demo. Here are the rankings in the demo (total viewers here):

In basic cable, Fox News was #3 in primetime total viewers behind USA and ESPN in January.

CNN was #24 and MSNBC was #29. For total day, FNC was #5, CNN was #23, and MSNBC was outside the top 30. You can see the basic cable rankings after the jump.

It is, however, perhaps disappointing that Geraldo Rivera has one of the highest ratings on FNC considering his demonstrated bias in reporting on some issues bearing on national security and Hispanic ethno-centricity.
