Shari'a Law arbitration in Texas!
February 08, 2008
Good News! Shari'a Law in London Texas!
Assalam aleikum, y'all!
The Second Court of Appeals of the State of Texas has rendered a ruling on the enforceability of shari'a judgments rendered by imams. According to the Texas appeals court, it's all good.
You've heard of the Texas Courts. Ladies and gentlemen, make way for the Texas Islamic Courts!!!
The parties will ask the courts to refer the cases for arbitration to Texas Islamic court within "Seven Days" from the establishment of the Texas Islamic Court panel of Arbitrators. The assignment must include ALL cases, including those filed against or on behalf of other family members related to the parties. Each party will notify the other party, Texas Islamic Court, and their respective attorneys, in writing of the assignment of all the above Cause Numbers from the above appropriate District Court to Texas Islamic Court.
In general, private arbitration agreements are enforceable by government courts. Shari'a arbitration agreements are one type of private arbitration agreement. Without a theory as to why shari'a arbitration agreements shouldn't be enforced by the courts, I'm not sure what else the appeals court could have done in this case. Still, this is not a welcome development.

Looks like it's going the way of England.....we are a country...yet we have laws where other governments rule. Time to look at why they think they have the right to do that. They have sold our country and government right out from underneith our very noses.
Seriously.....never mind......

This is outrageous. What do these people think they are doing, for crying out loud?
So, what does this mean? Suppose a terror suspect is arrested. Does this mean they will not be tried in our courts but the case transfered to the Islamic Courts? Oh, I can see it now....terror suspects released to walk free in our society because, after all, killing others is all part of Islam and therefore not illegal under their law.
And, suppose an American citizen is married to someone who falls under the jurisdiction of the Islamic Courts? Does this mean that the American citizen can be tried through the Islamic Courts for whatever "infraction" they have committed under that law?
I'm sorry, but this entire thing enters into very dangerous territory for a multitude of reasons and I hope it doesn't stop at the Second Court of Appeals. This ruling cannot be allowed to stand, that's for damned sure.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This is Lunacy! Not to mention in Texas?
You would expect this in CA, or maybe the Northeast but in Texas!
If this country continues on this path of political correctness, multiculturism, we only have one way to go and that is straight into the toilet!
