Former House Majority Leader Dick Armey urged freshman Republicans and the new House GOP leadership to temper themselves so as not to make the mistakes he and others made following their historic takeover of the chamber in 1994.

“We didn’t manage our enthusiasms and the fact of the matter is it ended up getting us in trouble,â€

Yes, Armey's mission is to 'chill' the new hot bloods on behalf of the entrenched DC establishment he serves.

I think the Republicans in Congress now are doing a great job. They've already repealed Obama Care in the US House of Representatives, and sound committed to doing everything possible to pass it in the Senate, using a replacement bill that solves some of the legitimate issues with health insurance such as exclusions of pre-existing conditions and dropped coverages when you get sick. They are also making stopping illegal immigration a top priority to create jobs for Americans looking to E-verify as the way to keep illegal aliens out of our job market, passing a bill that would clarify the 14th Amendment in practice that would end automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens, passing a bill that would acknowledge and authorize the "inherent authority" of states to use state and local law enforcement officers to enforce US immigration law, increasing increase border security and streamlining deportations.

That's full court press to stop illegal immigration in the United States and just the beginning in my view of the Republican effort to end this problem for the United States, once and for all.

The Dems know that the new wave of freshmen have the power and the fire to make a difference that the old Dem horses have failed to do. They are scared that the anti illegals movement is going to gain momentumand that ObamaCare is going to be dismantled if not in whole, bit by bit. RINOs are going to come out of the woodwork after this past November election. We need to keep the pressure and fan the flames to insure that the Feds enact tougher immigration laws, force state law enforcement officers to enforce the immigration laws that are on the books, Secure the border even if it takes troops to do so.
