No Republican Challenger?
Reyes wins primary, will return to Congress

U.S. Rep. Silvestre Reyes, who is seeking re-election the 16th Congressional District, received the majority of the vote in Tuesday's Democratic primary.
Reyes received 74,975 votes, or 80 percent, compared with challenger Jorge Artalejo's 18,264, or 20 percent.
Reyes does not have a Republican challenger in the Nov. 4 election.

That's a border district that hasn't elected a Republican to Congress since 1966 or so. I don't think TX-16 is part of American anymore.

I used to live there and after the fight to keep Fort Bliss open and upgraded I think it's about time to get some Republicans into the land of corruptness. Reyes is an illegal alien hugger and should have been called on the carpet long ago over the defunct border camera system!!!!
