Editor’s Note: The following report includes explicit language and links containing statements that may offend some readers.
Just imagine, you have a family friendly Facebook page and are happy for others to join the conversation and interact.
Then someone comes along, creates a Facebook identity using the most filthy language imaginable – such as “Jesus F—ing Christ. Slut Mary’s Bastard” – and starts posting on your page as “liking” the various items.
Suddenly, children are exposed, adults are hurt and people question your own integrity and values.
Then you learn Facebook has approved the group’s name and refuses to remove its page.
That’s apparently what’s happening to the group called The Center for Marriage Policy, which believes the failure of traditional marriages in the United States “is the primary driver of America’s self-compounding intergenerational socioeconomic and governance problems.”
In short, the group believes in a biblical marriage of one man and one woman, lasting for a lifetime to raise children and being a building block for society.
While that’s not exactly politically correct in light of current society’s enchantment with alternative sexual lifestyles, it’s actually the perspective that most people had in America for the first 200 or so years the country existed.
But not now, and there are those who make that plain.
The Facebook page labeled “Jesus F—ing Christ Slut Mary’s Bastard,” and the operators behind the group, have been busily posting “likes” on the page for the Center for Marriage Policy.
David R. Usher, president of the center, explained what happened.
“Here is the shocking reality. I returned from the Midwest Republican Leadership Conference last weekend to find that a Facebook group with a filthy name insulting Jesus and the Virgin Mary had ‘Liked’ just about every article posted on our Center for Marriage Policy Facebook page,” he said.
“There is nothing more disgusting than seeing a photo of myself with Rick Santorum dirtied by hateful, harassing, bullying expletives.”
He continued, “Facebook does not have a way to remove or block ‘Like’ spammers injecting hate into the pages of others. I removed one of the postings and reposted it later in the day, only to find that the hate group had again ‘Liked’ the posting.
“I reported the abuse to Facebook for violations of their policies on hate speech and harassment. Facebook’s response was shocking: they found this extremely offensive page “doesn’t violate our community standard on bullying and harassment” and “doesn’t violate our community standard on hate speech.”

Here’s the Facebook response, “Reports like yours are an important part of making Facebook a safe and welcoming environment. We reviewed the page you reported for harassment and found it doesn’t violate our community standard on bullying and harassment.”
Usher called the Facebook position, “a huge problem.”
“Investors, sell your stocks now,” he warned. “I know a number of conservative sites that have been shut down, but when the liberals attack us with filthy language, FB condones and endorses it.”
WND, explaining the concerns expressed by The Center for Marriage Policy, requested a comment from Facebook. After asking for more details, which were provided, Facebook went silent, failing to respond any further.

The group, “Jesus F–ing Christ,” has only 12 likes, mostly from anti-Christian and pro-homosexual groups such as “Ex heterosexuals through Christ,” “Ex Gay = MIXED UP,” “Gay Rights,” “Freedom From Religion Foundation,” “The Liberal Agenda,” “Exposing Hateful Conservatives,” “The Angry F-g,” “Jesus Loves to Give Fellatio,” “Virgin? Mary Should Have Aborted” and “I Love Abortions.”
The group also admitted harassing the Catholic Tea Party with “likes” in a posting on its page:

According to the group “1,000,000 Supporting Traditional Marriage,” Facebook has also refused to take action when the following pages were reported for hate speech or symbols and harassment: “Slut Mary Should’ve Aborted,” “F-ck Jesus” and “Homophobia Exposed”:

“One has to wonder how a publicly traded company can do business with a model staked on hateful harassment of Christians and the vast majority of normal, everyday, heterosexual Americans,” Usher said. “Facebook is ‘a safe and welcoming environment’ for its most vile liberal friends, who openly use it as platform for vicious attacks on those of us who believe in God, country, marriage. “
He said there’s no solution for the conservative organizations.
“Since the only way to remove this offensive language from our page is to delete all of our postings, we are stuck with ‘Facebook endorsed’ hate speech and bullying. Our board decided to stand our ground. We will NOT back down by zeroing out our page,” he said.
