Dewhurst Breaks with Perry on Tuition

Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst is breaking with Gov. Rick Perry by opposing in-state college tuition rates for illegal immigrants.

Dewhurst, running for the GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate seat of retiring Kay Bailey Hutchison, said he understands Perry's arguments but said his stance is all about fairness.

Dewhurst's comments came in a taping Monday for a political show to be aired Sunday.

Perry, seeking the Republican presidential nomination, has been criticized by opponents in his own party for his position that children of illegal immigrants in Texas through no fault of their own should pay reduced in-state college tuition.

Dewhurst said if Americans from Louisiana or Oklahoma or New Mexico aren't eligible for the lower tuition, it's not fair to give the break to non-citizens.

I could have told everyone exactly that. You cannot go to a retail or fastfood establishment anywhere in Texas and find anyone who speaks english. The only english speakers either work at the checkout or taking orders. Try asking one of them where the dressing rooms are and they just stand there and look at you. They have no idea what you just asked. Texas is turning into California with Mr. Perry's and Bush's help. People had better wake up. The GOP is furthering globalisation and people are to stupid to see it.

It is happening everywhere in every state....these are the jobs Obamba is providing that he so eloquently espouses on!!!! A snake oil salesman was elected to the big house it is now filled with termites, and slimy snakes........sadly the GOP is no better...they are just as slimy, but now they all know we all know it....
