    Australian government has announced a bill that it will enter into legislation that will restrict what is posted on the internet. By installing a filter at consumer Internet Service Providers (ISP), then government can disallow what it determines to be criminal content. Media and the public alike have been in outrage over the proposal and call for public debate on the issue. As long as it is not the US form of public debate.

    The measure comes from a desire to protect children from violence and other questionable content that is availble on the internet, and else where off the internet. It also comes in the wake of the secret agenda by the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA), an international treaty that presumes to levy draconian rules upon the internet without regard for due process. Previously the discussions, that have included the US have been secret, though recently Vice President Biden has held a strawman meeting to “publicallyâ€

    Awwwwwwwwwwwww, it's always for the "children". Boy do they use that one to sucker people to much or what.
