Question France: “Arabic-speaking man” slashes soldier in the face with a box cutter

APRIL 25, 2016 12:39 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER

Authorities in France are probably searching for a motive, since they deny the obvious. The Islamic State issued this call in September 2014:

So O muwahhid, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons, and troops of the tawāghīt. Strike their police, security, and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. Destroy their beds. Embitter their lives for them and busy them with themselves. If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be….If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him….

“French soldier sliced by ‘Arabic-speaking man,'” The Local, April 25, 2016 (thanks to Blazing Cat Fur):

A soldier in eastern France has been attacked by an Arabic-speaking man wielding a box cutter, reports say.

The attack occurred on Saturday night near the central train station in Strasbourg, reported BFM TV.

At around 8pm, the man was reportedly walking in the same direction as some patrol troops when he turned around, sliced the face of one of the soldiers, then fled the scene.

The soldiers, who were patrolling the station as part of France’s heightened security measures following last year’s terror attacks, allowed the man to escape rather than risking the safety of the public or causing a stampede, they said.

The aggressor was reportedly speaking Arabic at the time, though did not say “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest) as has been the case in previous random attacks on soldiers and police in France.

The soldier did not sustain serious injuries, the channel reported.

Ever since the terror attacks in Paris last January, France has seen armed soldiers patrolling the streets, especially in busy areas like train stations and tourist attractions.

Since then there have incidents where soldiers have been attacked, by individuals….

Got to watch out for those “individuals”!

Muslim migrant gang demanding “respect” smashes into Paris school, refuses to leave

If you believe that these people are going to settle down and become loyal, productive members of French society, I have a bridge to sell you.

“Gang of migrants demanding ‘respect’ smash way into Paris school and refuse to leave,” by Laura Mowat, Express, April 25, 2016 (thanks to Lookmann):

MIGRANTS have been called a “disgrace” as they illegally squat in a school in Paris.

The 150 migrants have taken over the building of Jean-Jaures school since Friday as they seek shelter, electricity, gas and water.

Authorities have labelled the takeover of the school in Paris’s 19th quarter a “savage occupation”.

The chief constable of the area, Jean-François Carenco, has said: “In this country, it is the law that speaks and not force.

“They are attacking a building that is not empty but is having work done to it.

“It is a disgrace. France is a country of refuge, but not a chaotic country.”

Authorities have asked migrants to leave the school, which needs to welcome students after it has been renovated.

Neighbours and the local authority are concerned that the illegal occupation could lead to a possible deterioration of the area and lead to social issues.

But an un-named migrant who spoke to FRANCE 24 said: “You have seen the conditions that we live, it isn’t humane.

“We ask to be given a bit of consideration and respect, that is why we have decided to come to the school.”…

Report: Israel Boycott Halted Security Deal That Could Have Thwarted Paris Attacks

"There was a higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology."

    4.26.2016 Tiffany Gabbay

According to an Israeli security source, an Israeli security company offered terror-tracking software to French security officials after the Charlie Hebdo massacre -- software that could have prevented the recent attacks in Paris and Belgium -- but were refused due to a "higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology."

In other words, a moronic boycott led by anti-Semites came back to bite them. Unfortunately, many innocent people had to lose their lives in the process. The Times of Israel reports:

An alleged boycott of Israeli technology may have prevented an airport security deal offered to France after the deadly Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher attacks in January, 2015. Use of the Israeli terrorist-tracking technology could possibly have thwarted the subsequent Islamic State terror attacks in Paris and Belgium.

According to an Israeli security source who spoke to Fox News on Monday, an Israeli security company offered terrorist-tracking software to the Directorate-General for Internal Security, France’s main intelligence agency — software that could have helped flag the deadly IS terror cell that perpetrated the attacks in Paris last November and in Belgium last month. But the offer was rebuffed allegedly after an official made clear that Israeli technology could not be purchased, the source said. The agency did not officially state a reason for the rejection.

According to the Fox News report, the technology searches and matches intelligence reports from a wide range of databases from around the world. It is a tool that reports claim could have aided counter-terror agents in tracking the suspects in real time.

"French authorities liked it, but the official came back and said there was a higher-level instruction not to buy Israeli technology," the Israeli counter-terror specialist told Fox

    "The discussion just stopped."

While not naming the software company directly, the Israeli source said the technology was also made available to security officials in the US and other countries with friendlier ties to Israel:

“Government agencies struggling to foil terror attacks need access to technologies that allow them to connect their data fragments, making it possible to handle daily data challenges,” the source added. “With this system, all data can then be easily navigated, processed and represented by employing a set of powerful analytic tools and unique algorithms.”

The software, according to the source, could have given French and European authorities an edge in tracking terror suspects and even thwarted the recent attacks in Paris and Brussels that killed over 160 people combined.

Instead, it took European authorities over four months to find Salah Abdeslam, the last surviving member of the Paris terror cell responsible for the Brussels attacks and also affiliated with the November Paris attacks.

Ironically, following the November Paris attacks, Haaretz reported that a demand for Israeli security technology skyrocketed.

A manager for Israeli company BriefCam — whose technology lets users view security footage quickly to detect suspicious activity — told Haaretz at the time he received urgent orders from Belgium, Italy and Germany, after the attacks.

Of course, security officials want to avail themselves of Israeli innovation after the hammer drops, just like every BDS supporter somehow conveniently still uses their mobile phones with text and voicemail features (all created in Israel), laptops that run Windows software (all developed in Microsoft's R&D facility in Israel), Facebook apps (many of which are developed in Israel), take antibiotics and other medications when sick (many developed at TEVA Pharmaceuticals in Israel), and so on.

The saddest part is that BDS is not only moronic and bigoted, in this case and many others, it may have cost many lives.
