Tell us everything about yourself so we can discriminate against you

If you think affirmative action in the United States is ridiculous discrimination in the name of equality, you ain't seen nothing yet. The United Kingdom plans to ask intrusive questions of every public employee -- "[m]illions of teachers, nurses and policemen" --inquiring into their sexual practices, race, and religion. The so-called "diversity monitoring forms" will be used to ensure "equality."

It is all part of the Orwellian-named "Equality Act", passed by the previous Labour government, but now "enthusiastically embraced by the coalition Conservative-Liberal Democratic now governing Great Britain.

The UK Mail quotes a guide on complying with the Equality Act produced by Lib Dem equalities minister Lynne Featherstone: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... z1AvY9vZ9r

It also says that complying with the equality duty ‘may involve treating some people better than others, as far as this is allowed by discrimination law'.

Nice of her to be so honest. Treating some better than others to end discrimination ranks right up there with "destroying the village to save it."

Brits are now advised that if they change their sexual practices, they may gain a job advantage. Incentivize something, and you get more of it.
