War In Africa
I hate war just as much as the next sane person but the pattern of war is too consistent to over look.
I really fear that millions of people will pay the ultimate price for lower energy costs to the victor. There
is a showdown happening under the radar of media deception and ordinary apathy of everyday people.
About six years ago, Uganda was rated as having oil reserves that rivaled Saudi Arabia.

Oil prospecting is a long and expensive process as described by Wikipedia.org:
Oil exploration is an expensive, high-risk operation. Offshore and remote area exploration is generally only undertaken by very large corporations or national governments. Typical shallow shelf oil wells (e.g. North Sea) cost US$10 – 30 million, while deep water wells can cost up to US$100 million plus. Hundreds of smaller companies search for onshore hydrocarbon deposits worldwide, with some wells costing as little as US$100,000.
Africa, as a continent, has been very open to foreign investment in the past. China has been the first to act in such a large scale.
China is building infrastructure and waving cash around like a drunken casino player.

African leaders, some may be acting on corrupt impulses, are welcoming the vast infusion of cash.
The US responded with nothing but the old tried and tired military threat: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Africa_Command
We are watching you, China

Americans should have been all over Africa forming partnerships to help them drill their oil and get it into production. I truly don't understand why they didn't. To allow China to do this instead of the US is just inconceivably dumb. Had we, then we could have been jointly selling oil to China and making a mint off of it while helping Africa overcome their high rate of poverty and suffering.
Trump is right. Our leaders are so stupid, so incredibly inept.
Sickening.

You are right Judy.
False pretences for getting a war started proves to be easy. WMDs were easy to sell.
Think about the great misconceptions about Africa today. It would be almost too easy for the elite to start something and kill millions in the process.

Oh it's just terrible, the misconceptions. So much potential, such great strong people. It's unbelievable what they could accomplish with some real help from United States businesses. Why our companies all flee to China instead of some to Africa, I really don't understand. Maybe lack of infrastructure and stability, but with the investments, the infrastructure and stability would come. So, I just don't get it, unless our companies have just been sold a bill of goods by China and as you say are operating under very deep misconceptions about Africa. Even so, oil drilling would be so easy for them there. I mean if you can build a rig out in the ocean, you can damn well build one in Africa.
We need to push on this, Nkosi. We really do!
DRILL AFRICA!! You know Trump would seize on this opportunity and talk some of the companies into it, because man, a fortune to be made by everyone. Why let China have it?! Oh, right, because our leaders are ..... SO STUPID!!A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan
